Is the graffiti workshop safe for children during school holidays?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our main priority. During the school holiday workshop in Delhi, we provide all participants with high-quality FFP2 respiratory masks, nitrile gloves, and protective suits to keep clothes clean. Our instructors are professional artists who have years of experience working with younger age groups, ensuring a supervised, fun, and completely safe environment for everyone involved. We use premium low-pressure spray cans that are easier for beginners to control.

What is the minimum age to participate?

For our school holiday programs in Delhi, we generally recommend a minimum age of 8 to 10 years. This is primarily because of the physical strength required to press the spray nozzle and the size of the protective gear. However, we are flexible! If you have a younger group, just let us know, and we can adjust the workshop style or use water-based markers to ensure everyone can participate in the creative process.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Delhi's weather can be unpredictable, but we've got you covered. If the heavens open, we usually move the workshop to a sheltered outdoor area or an indoor location using water-based, low-odour spray cans specifically designed for interior use. Alternatively, we can reschedule the session or provide a backup artist for a later date. Your creative holiday experience won't be ruined by a bit of typical Delhi rain!

Do we need any prior drawing or painting experience?

Not at all! Our school holiday graffiti workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our Delhi-based artists start with the very basics—from how to hold the can to making your first clean line. We guide each student through the process of sketching, filling, and outlining. By the end of the session, even those who thought they couldn't draw a straight line will be amazed by the masterpiece they've created.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We suggest wearing comfortable 'old' clothes and sneakers. Even though we provide full-body protective suits and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be a bit messy, and spray paint is permanent. It's best to wear things you wouldn't mind getting a tiny speck of paint on. Since most of our Delhi spots are outdoors or in semi-shaded areas, dressing for the weather is also a good idea to stay comfortable throughout the session.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Our standard holiday workshops in Delhi typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives the group plenty of time to learn the techniques, practice their 'tag', and collaborate on a large-scale mural or individual pieces. If you have specific timing requirements or want a more intensive full-day masterclass, we can easily customise the duration to fit your holiday schedule perfectly. Just ask us for a custom quote!

How do I book and do I need to pay in advance?

Booking is super easy and stress-free. You don't need to pay anything upfront! Simply reach out to us with your preferred date and group size for your Delhi event. We will confirm the availability and lock in the slot. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. This 'pay later' policy ensures you can book with total confidence and peace of mind.

Basics of Spraying: Learn how to control the pressure, change nozzles (caps), and create different line widths on a practice wall.
Concept Sketching: Grab the markers and paper to brainstorm your tag or piece. Our artists help you with letter structure and 3D effects.
Background Creation: Start on the real wall! Learn how to create smooth gradients and "fades" for a vibrant Delhi-inspired background.
The Fill-In: Use your chosen colours to fill in your letters. This is where you learn techniques to keep the paint from dripping.
Outlining: The most crucial part! Use a steady hand to outline your work, making the design pop against the background.
Details & Highlights: Add 'shines', 'bubbles', or 'force fields' to give your artwork that professional street art finish.
