Is graffiti art safe for children and teenagers?

Absolutely! At our Delhi summer camp, safety is our top priority. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier for kids to control and provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and ponchos. Our professional artists are experienced in working with youth and maintain a supervised, controlled environment at all times. We ensure the creative space is well-ventilated and that every participant follows our safety orientation before they start painting.

Do the kids need prior art experience to participate?

Our workshops are designed for everyone! Whether your child is a budding Picasso or has never picked up a spray can, our Delhi artists provide step-by-step guidance. We start with the absolute basics of can control and line work, ensuring every participant feels confident. The goal is to explore creativity and have fun, so no prior artistic skill or experience is required to join our summer camp sessions.

What should participants wear and bring to the camp?

We recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable sneakers that you don't mind getting a bit of 'artistic' splatter on. While we provide protective ponchos and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy. Since Delhi summers can be quite warm, breathable cotton clothing is best. We provide all the professional art supplies, including premium spray paint, caps, and safety equipment, so you don't need to bring any materials.

How much does the graffiti summer camp cost in Delhi?

Pricing for our Delhi summer camp typically ranges from ₹2000 to ₹5000 per person. This variation depends on the total number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and the specific venue setup. We offer competitive rates for larger youth groups and NGOs. To get the most accurate pricing for your specific needs, we recommend requesting a custom quote through our website for a tailored package.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard creative session usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough room for a thorough safety briefing, demonstrations of different techniques, individual practice time, and the final creation of a collaborative masterpiece. For longer summer camp programmes, we can split sessions over multiple days to dive deeper into street art history, stencil making, and advanced mural techniques to keep the energy high.

What happens if the weather in Delhi is bad?

The Delhi monsoon or summer heat won't stop the creativity! We have access to several sheltered and indoor locations across the city that are well-ventilated and suitable for spray painting. If you have a specific venue in mind, we can assess it for suitability. For outdoor sessions, we always have a backup plan or can reschedule to ensure the kids stay comfortable and the paint dries perfectly.

The experience

Professional guidance: Learn directly from active street artists who are part of India's thriving graffiti scene.
Full creative freedom: We encourage kids to find their own style and express themselves without boundaries.
Safety first: We use high-quality, low-odour paints and provide all necessary protective equipment.
No cancellations: With our pool of backup artists, we guarantee your workshop will go ahead as planned.
Skill building: Beyond art, kids develop motor skills, spatial awareness, and collaborative teamwork.
Hassle-free booking: No upfront payment is required; you only pay once the creative session is complete.

Step by step

Intro and safety briefing: We kick things off with a cool intro to street art culture and a vital safety talk about using spray cans properly.
Mastering the can: Under the guidance of professional Delhi artists, kids learn how to hold the can and control the pressure for different effects.
Lines and fades: We practice basic techniques like drawing clean lines, creating dots, and mastering the art of 'fading' colours together.
Sketching the concept: Participants brainstorm their ideas on paper first, planning out their tags or characters before moving to the wall.
Outline and fill: Time to go big! Students start outlining their designs on the practice surface and learn how to fill in large areas efficiently.
Adding the 'pop': We teach advanced tricks like adding highlights, 3D shadows, and 'force fields' to make the artwork stand out.
Final touches: The artists help refine the details, ensuring every participant is proud of their contribution to the mural.
Group photo and cleanup: We celebrate the final masterpiece with a dedicated photo session before packing up the gear.
