The experience
Why settle for ordinary when you can bring the walls to life? Our workshops are designed to bridge the gap between street culture and educational excellence in Beijing. Here is why schools love working with us:
- Boosts Confidence: Graffiti is a 'low stakes, high reward' art form that helps even the quietest students find their voice. 🎤
- Encourages Teamwork: Large-scale murals require planning and cooperation, making it the perfect team-building exercise. 🤝
- Professional Guidance: Learn from real artists who live and breathe the street art culture, not just teachers reading from a book. 🏆
- Safe & Clean: We provide full protective gear and industrial-strength floor coverings—guaranteed no mess left behind! ✨
- Flexible Locations: We come to you anywhere in Beijing, from Shunyi to the Central Business District. 📍
- Skill Development: Students learn hand-eye coordination, colour theory, and scale in a highly practical way. 💪

Step by step
- Introduction & Safety: We kick things off with a high-energy intro about the culture of street art and a vital safety briefing on how to use the equipment properly.
- The Art of the Tag: Students begin by sketching their ideas on paper, learning how to structure letters and develop their own unique 'tag' or nickname.
- Can Control 101: It's time to pick up the cans! Our artists demonstrate how to hold the spray can, control pressure, and swap caps for different line widths.
- Practice Period: Before hitting the main event, students practice basic shapes, outlines, and fades on practice walls to build their confidence.
- Mural Design: The group works together to outline the "Masterpiece." Whether it's a school logo or a themed mural, this is where the teamwork starts.
- Fill-ins & Colour: The fun part! Students use a vibrant palette of professional paint to fill in the designs, learning about colour theory and blending.
- Outlining & Detailing: Under our artists' guidance, students add the sharp outlines and 'highlights' that make the graffiti pop off the wall.
- The Big Reveal: We finish by tidying up the details and taking group photos of the incredible final mural created by the students.
- Clean-up & Wrap-up: Our team handles all the heavy lifting and cleaning, leaving the area spotless while the students take away their new-found skills!

Local culture
Street art in Beijing
Beijing has a fascinating and rapidly evolving street art scene. While much of the city is known for its ancient history, hubs like the 798 Art District have become global epicentres for modern creativity. Our workshops tap into this local energy, teaching students about the unique fusion of traditional Chinese aesthetics and modern urban grit found in the city's "hidden" lanes and creative zones. We often share stories of how local artists have transformed concrete walls into cultural landmarks across the capital.
