The experience

Why choose a Graffitifun workshop for your Stavanger students? It’s more than just painting; it’s about building confidence and teamwork through a medium they actually find cool! 🔥

  • Inclusive creativity: Graffiti is a great leveller—you don't need to be a "traditional" artist to create something that looks amazing. 🏆
  • Boost school pride: Transform your school environment with vibrant murals created by the students, for the students. ✨
  • Expert guidance: Work with real street artists who live and breathe this culture, ensuring an authentic and professional experience. 🎤
  • Peace of mind: We handle all the prep and clean-up, and there's no upfront payment—you only pay once the workshop is done! 💪
  • Curriculum links: We can tie sessions into Art, Design, or even Social Studies, discussing the history and ethics of street art. 📚

Step by step

  1. Designated sketch phase: We start by getting those creative juices flowing on paper, teaching students how to structure graffiti letters and characters.
  2. Safety & gear up: Every student gets kitted out in protective suits, gloves, and professional-grade masks for a safe experience.
  3. Can control basics: Our pros demonstrate how to hold the can, use different nozzles (caps), and manage hand speed for clean lines.
  4. Practice runs: Students head to the practice wall to get a feel for the pressure and flow of the spray paint.
  5. Outline & fill: The group begins their main project, learning how to 'fill' large areas efficiently without drips.
  6. Cutting & 3D effects: We teach the tricks of the trade, like adding shadows and 3D blocks to make the art pop off the wall.
  7. Highlighting & detailing: The final touches involve adding 'highlights' and 'power lines' to give the piece that professional edge.
  8. The big reveal: We step back as a group to admire the finished mural and take photos of the students' hard work.
  9. Clean up & reflection: We pack up all materials, leaving the site spotless, followed by a quick chat about what everyone learned.
