Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, water-based spray paints where possible and provide full protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our instructors are trained to manage groups with varying needs, ensuring that every participant stays safe while having the time of their lives. We tailor the environment in Biskra to be calm and controlled for those with sensory sensitivities.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti is a messy business, and sometimes a stray 'tag' might end up on your trainers! Being comfortable is key to letting your creativity flow freely during our Biskra street art sessions.

Do we need any prior art experience to join?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to budding artists. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun. Our professional artists will guide everyone through the basics of spray painting, from making dots to creating clean lines. It’s all about the experience and the joy of creating something unique together.

How long does a typical session last?

Typically, our special needs workshops in Biskra last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is perfect for maintaining engagement without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible; if the group needs more frequent breaks or a shorter, more intense session, we can easily adapt the schedule to suit your specific requirements.

Where do the workshops take place in Biskra?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at a local community space, a school playground, or even brought directly to your facility in Biskra. We just need a well-ventilated area or an outdoor space. If you don't have a venue, let us know, and we can help find a suitable local spot that is accessible for everyone.

What types of special needs can you accommodate?

Our Biskra programs are highly inclusive. We cater to individuals with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, autism, and sensory processing disorders. By using different tools like varied nozzle sizes and adjustable easels, we ensure that everyone, regardless of their physical or cognitive ability, can successfully express themselves through street art.

How do I book a workshop and what is the cost?

Booking is easy! Since every special needs group has unique requirements, we don't have a 'one size fits all' price. Simply use our online Cost Calculator or request a quote through our contact form. We’ll chat about your group size and goals, then provide a tailored plan. Best of all, there's no upfront payment required!

Sensory-rich experience: The sound of the can, the feel of the spray, and the bright colours provide a fantastic sensory stimulation.
Boosts confidence: Seeing a large-scale piece of art come to life provides an incredible sense of achievement. 🏆

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us to discuss the specific needs and interests of your group in Biskra so we can tailor the session perfectly.
Design brainstorming: We start by sketching ideas on paper, helping participants visualise their colourful masterwork before touching a can.
Safety briefing: Our artists give a friendly demonstration on how to use the equipment safely, including masks and gloves.
Nozzle techniques: Participants learn the 'cans and don'ts', experimenting with different caps to create thick or thin lines.
Colour selection: Everyone gets to pick their favourite vibrant shades from our massive collection of professional spray paint.
The main event: Under the guidance of our pros, the group begins painting their collective mural or individual canvases.
Adding the details: We help participants add those final 'pops' and outlines that make the street art really stand out.
The grand reveal: We take a moment to celebrate the hard work and snap photos of the incredible creations.
Easy cleanup: We handle all the messy bits, leaving you only with the art and the smiles.

Good to know

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Biskra is a city of stunning contrasts, where the lush palm groves of the Sahara meet a rich history of resilience and beauty. This spirit of endurance makes it the perfect backdrop for an empowering graffiti experience. We draw inspiration from the local scenery—the deep oranges of the desert sunset and the vibrant greens of the dates—to fuel our artistic sessions. 🌴🔥

Fun Fact: Biskra is often called the "Queen of the Ziban" and is world-famous for its delicious Deglet Nour dates. Just like the city's famous fruit, our workshops are sweet, local, and leave a lasting impression!

While Biskra is steeped in tradition, there is a growing appreciation for modern creative expression. By bringing street art to the local community, we are helping to write a new, colourful chapter in the city's artistic story, ensuring that everyone in the Biskra region has the chance to participate in the global urban art movement.
