Is the paint safe for participants with sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality spray paints that are low-odour and eco-friendly whenever possible. We also provide full protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Safety is our number one priority, and our artists are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and secure while they create their masterpieces. Our workshop environment is designed to be a safe haven for creativity.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on—just in case! While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be a bit messy. Flat, closed-toe shoes are a must for stability. We'll handle all the professional gear, so you just need to bring your enthusiasm and a 'can-do' attitude to the Charleroi workshop!

Where in Charleroi do the workshops take place?

Ideally, we need a space with good ventilation or an outdoor area. If you have a specific location in Charleroi in mind, let us know! If not, we can arrange a suitable creative spot. We are very flexible and can adapt our setup to various environments, including community centres, school halls, or private gardens, ensuring the space is accessible for all mobility needs.

How long does a typical session last?

Our workshops usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. For our special needs programmes, we often find that 2 hours is the 'sweet spot'—it provides enough time to learn, practice, and finish a piece without becoming overstimulating or tiring. However, we can totally customise the duration to fit the energy levels and attention spans of your specific group.

Do we need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional graffiti artists are experts at breaking down the techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on the joy of movement and the satisfaction of seeing bright colours on a canvas. Whether someone is a natural artist or has never held a spray can before, they will leave with something they are proud of.

What types of special needs can you accommodate?

We believe street art is for everyone! We have worked with a wide range of needs, including physical disabilities, autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders. By keeping our groups small and our artist-to-participant ratio high, we can provide the individual attention required. If you have specific requirements or triggers we should be aware of, just let us know during the booking process.

How do I book a workshop for my group?

Booking is easy and stress-free! Start by using our online Cost Calculator to get a rough idea, or jump straight to our contact form to request a custom quote. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is completed. Our team will chat with you about your group's specific needs to ensure we pair you with the perfect artist and setup.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Charleroi, once the beating heart of Belgium's industry, has transformed into a vibrant playground for urban explorers and artists. Known for its "cool-gritty" vibe, the city is home to some of the most impressive legal graffiti walls in the country, particularly around the Marchienne-au-Pont area. This industrial backdrop provides the perfect inspiration for our workshops, connecting our participants to the local 'Carolo' spirit of resilience and creativity. ✨

Fun fact: Did you know that Charleroi is often called the "Pays Noir" (Black Country) due to its coal mining history? Today, that heritage is being repainted with every colour of the rainbow by local street artists! 🌈

From the Sambre riverbanks to the city centre, art is everywhere here. We love bringing our workshops to this city because its transformation mirrors the empowerment our participants feel: taking something raw and turning it into a masterpiece.
