Is the graffiti workshop safe for individuals with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, non-toxic spray paint specifically designed for ease of use. Every participant is provided with high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and aprons. Our professional artists are highly experienced in managing workshops for diverse groups and will be there to guide everyone through every step, ensuring a secure and comfortable environment for all.

Do participants need any previous art experience?

Not at all! Our Concepcion workshops are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to budding artists. We focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection. Our instructors use simplified techniques and 'stencil' methods to help everyone achieve a result they are proud of. The goal is to have fun, express yourself, and enjoy the sensory experience of working with colour.

How do you accommodate different physical or sensory requirements?

We are incredibly flexible. If your group includes wheelchair users or people with limited mobility, we set up our canvases at accessible heights and ensure the workspace is clear and easy to navigate. For those with sensory sensitivities, we can host workshops in quieter locations or provide additional breaks. Just let us know your specific requirements when booking, and we will tailor the setup for you.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard special needs graffiti workshop in Concepcion usually lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This timeframe is ideal as it allows enough time for a relaxed introduction, practice sessions, and the final creation without being overly tiring for the participants. We always follow the pace of the group; if we need to slow down or take more breaks, that is absolutely fine with us!

Is there a specific age limit for participants?

We believe that artistic expression should be accessible to everyone, which is why we don't have a strict age limit. We have successfully hosted workshops for children, teenagers, and adults. As long as the participant can hold a spray can (with or without assistance), they are more than welcome to join in the fun. We adapt our teaching style to suit the age group.

What equipment do we need to provide?

Everything is included! We bring the professional-grade spray paint, protective masks, gloves, and overalls. We also provide the canvases or boards that will be painted on. You don't need to worry about bringing any supplies. We recommend that participants wear comfortable clothing that they don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on, just in case, though the protective gear is very effective.

How can we book a session for our group in Concepcion?

Getting started is easy! You can use our online Cost Calculator to get an instant estimate, or simply fill out our contact form. Our team will get back to you to discuss your group's specific needs and provide a custom quote. Once you are happy with the plan, we'll get you on the calendar. Remember, there is no upfront payment required—you only pay after the workshop!

Boosts self-esteem: There is nothing quite like the pride of seeing a giant, colourful piece of art that you helped create! 💪
Safe and tailored: We adapt every single session to the physical and cognitive needs of the participants—safety and comfort are our priorities.
No stress booking: With no upfront payments and a 100% fun guarantee, we make the process easy for organisers. 🏆
Inclusive locations: Whether we come to you or you come to us, we ensure the environment is fully accessible for everyone in Concepcion.

Step by step

Warm welcome and intro: We meet the group at our local Concepcion spot and introduce our friendly artists. We keep things relaxed to make sure everyone feels comfortable. 🎨
Safety first: Everyone gets fitted with their protective gear (masks, gloves, and aprons). We explain how to use the cans safely and simply.
The 'blank wall' demo: Our pros show off some basic spray techniques, focusing on how different pressures and distances change the paint flow. 💨
Practice run: Participants get their own space to 'test' the cans. This is all about getting used to the sensory feel of the spray and the vibrant colours.
Choosing the design: We work together to pick themes or use pre-made stencils that make it easy for everyone to create something beautiful and bold. ✨
The main event: It is time to paint! Participants start filling in their designs on the canvas, with our artists providing as much or as little help as needed.
Adding the details: We help add those final 'pops' of colour or sharp outlines that make the artwork really stand out. 🏆
The grand reveal: We take a moment to admire the collective work. It’s a proud moment for everyone involved!
Photos and wrap-up: We snap some group photos with the art and say our goodbyes. Everyone leaves with a huge smile!

Local culture

Concepcion, often called the "Capital of Chilean Rock", has a gritty, creative energy that makes it the perfect backdrop for street art. From the mural-heavy streets surrounding the Universidad de Concepción to the hidden gems in the Barrio Estación, the city breathes art. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, giving participants a chance to contribute to the urban culture of "Conce" in their own unique way. 🎤

Fun Fact: Did you know that the University of Concepcion houses one of the most famous murals in Chile, "Presence of Latin America"? It’s a massive inspiration for our artists and a great place to visit for a bit of creative spark before your workshop! 🏛️
