The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your group in Rancagua? It’s more than just painting; it’s a powerful tool for connection and confidence. Here’s why it’s a hit:

  • 💪 Confidence boost: Seeing a giant, colourful artwork that YOU helped create is an incredible feeling of achievement.
  • 🌈 Sensory play: The sound of the can, the feel of the spray, and the visual pop of the colours provide a fantastic multi-sensory experience.
  • 🤝 Social connection: Collaborative murals encourage teamwork and communication in a relaxed, non-pressured environment.
  • 🔥 Full expression: Graffiti is "rule-breaking" in the best way—it allows for freedom of movement and bold choices that traditional art might not.
  • ✨ Safety first: Our artists are experts at creating a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels safe to try something new.

Step by step

  1. Initial chat: We start by discussing your group's specific requirements, interests, and any mobility or sensory considerations to tailor the session perfectly.
  2. Design prep: Our artists prepare a custom sketch or theme. We often use 'colour-by-numbers' outlines to help participants get amazing results right away.
  3. Safety briefing: We suit up in our protective gear! This is a fun part where everyone gets to look like a professional street artist in their ponchos and masks.
  4. Can control 101: We start with 'air painting' to get a feel for the movement before trying out the real cans on practice surfaces.
  5. The big reveal: Participants begin filling in the main mural or their individual canvases, watching the vibrant colours transform the space.
  6. Adding the details: Under the gentle guidance of our pros, we add highlights, 'force fields' (outlines), and those final splashes of character.
  7. Photo op: We celebrate the achievement with a group photo in front of the finished masterpiece—a proud moment for every participant!
  8. Clean up: We handle all the tidying. If the group worked on canvases, they get to keep their art; if it was a mural, the memories (and photos) last a lifetime.

Local culture

Street art in Rancagua

Rancagua is a city with a heart as big as its copper mines, and its street art scene is growing fast! From the mural-lined streets near the Plaza de los Héroes to the creative energy found in the local barrios, art is part of the city's soul. We love bringing our workshops here because the community spirit is so strong. Our special needs sessions often take inspiration from local culture—think the vibrant colours of the Medialuna or the natural beauty of the nearby Andes.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Rancagua is known as the "City of Heroes"? We think every participant who picks up a spray can and expresses their unique vision is a bit of a hero too! 🏆
