Is the graffiti workshop safe for individuals with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our workshops in Talca use professional-grade spray paints in a controlled environment. Our artists are highly experienced in working with diverse needs and will provide constant supervision and guidance to ensure every participant feels secure and comfortable throughout the entire creative process.

Do participants need prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our Special Needs Program is designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to budding artists. We focus on the 'fun' factor rather than technical perfection. Our instructors are patient and skilled at breaking down techniques into simple, manageable steps, ensuring that everyone can create something they are proud of while enjoying the sensory experience of the paint.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Our typical sessions for special needs groups in Talca last between 1.5 to 3 hours. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining engagement and energy without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible; if your group needs more frequent breaks or a shorter, high-impact session, we can easily tailor the schedule to suit your specific requirements.

Are all the materials included in the price?

Yes, we take care of everything! We provide all the necessary professional spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective clothing, and the canvases or surfaces for the art. You don't need to bring anything other than your enthusiasm and some old shoes you don't mind getting a bit of dust on. We want to make the experience as stress-free as possible for organisers.

Can you accommodate specific physical or cognitive requirements?

We believe in making street art accessible to everyone. Our instructors are trained to adapt their teaching styles for various physical, cognitive, or sensory needs. Whether it's using different types of nozzles that are easier to press or focusing on broader, more gestural movements, we work closely with you beforehand to ensure the environment and activities are perfectly suited to your group's abilities.

Where in Talca does the workshop take place?

We are highly mobile! We can host the workshop at a dedicated street art location in Talca, or we can bring the entire experience to your facility, school, or community centre. If we come to you, we use mobile graffiti walls and ensure the area is properly protected. This flexibility allows participants to stay in a familiar environment if that's more comfortable for them.

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us to share your group's specific needs and interests so we can tailor the experience.
Design the concept: We help you choose a theme or a basic design that will be easy and fun for everyone to work on.
Safety briefing: On the day, we start with a friendly introduction to the gear, ensuring everyone feels comfortable with their masks and gloves.
The first spray: Participants get to 'test' the cans on a practice board to get a feel for the pressure and the vibrant colours.
Building the background: Everyone joins in to add large splashes of colour, creating a bright and textured base for the masterpiece.
Stencil and detail work: We use custom stencils to help participants add clear shapes and 'tags' to the artwork with ease.
The finishing touches: Our pro artists help add those final highlights that make the artwork really pop!
Photo session: We celebrate the achievement with a group photo in front of the finished collective mural.
Takeaway art: Depending on the setup, participants can even take home their own individual canvases as a memento of the day.

Local culture

Talca is a city with a deep-rooted sense of community and a growing appreciation for public art. From the historic charm of the Plaza de Armas to the bustling energy near the Universidad de Talca, the city is finding its voice through creative expression. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, offering a way for the special needs community to contribute to the city's evolving visual landscape. We love the laid-back, friendly vibe of Talca, which provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and inclusive workshop. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know Talca is often called the "City of Thunder" (Piduco)? While it sounds intense, the local street art scene is actually becoming one of the most welcoming and vibrant in central Chile! ⚡
