Do I need to be a professional artist to join the training?

Absolutely no prior experience with a spray can is needed! Our training is designed to take educators from 'zero to hero'. We’ll start with the basics of nozzle control and safety, then move into advanced techniques. The goal is to give you the confidence to guide your own students, regardless of your personal artistic background. It's all about learning the process so you can teach it effectively!

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to get started. This includes high-quality spray paint, various nozzles (caps) for different effects, protective masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the practice surfaces and design templates. You just need to bring your enthusiasm, some comfortable old shoes, and a notebook if you want to jot down pedagogical tips during the session.

Is the spray paint safe to use in a school setting?

Safety is our absolute priority. We use low-pressure cans that are easier to control and provide high-quality respiratory masks for all participants. Our trainers are experts in site management and will teach you how to set up a safe 'spray zone' in a school environment. We cover ventilation, fire safety, and skin protection, ensuring you can replicate a safe creative space for your students.

Can this training help me build a formal lesson plan?

Yes! While we focus on the technical 'how-to' of graffiti, a large portion of the training is dedicated to curriculum integration. we discuss how street art can be used to teach colour theory, social history, typography, and community engagement. You’ll leave with a framework that fits into standard art education requirements while offering something fresh and exciting for your pupils.

How long does the teacher training session last?

Our standard professional development sessions usually last between 2 and 4 hours. However, we are very flexible. If your school or department in Talca wants a full-day intensive or a multi-day deep dive, we can certainly arrange that. Longer sessions allow for more 'wall time' and deeper discussions on graffiti culture and its application in contemporary Chilean education.

How does the payment process work for schools?

We understand how school budgets and planning work, so we don't require any upfront payment to secure your booking. You can book your date, and the payment is only settled after the workshop has been successfully completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the quality of the training before any funds are transferred. It’s our stress-free guarantee for busy educators!
