Is the spray paint safe for people with respiratory sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, water-based spray paint options for our indoor-intensive sessions or when specific sensitivities are involved. The safety and comfort of our participants are our top priority, so we provide masks, gloves, and protective suits to ensure everyone feels secure while they explore their creativity. If you have specific sensory needs regarding smells, just let us know in advance!

Are the workshop locations in Pardubice wheelchair accessible?

We believe street art is for everyone. Our workshops in Pardubice are fully mobile, meaning we can come to your specific facility if it has better accessibility, or we can host you at one of our wheelchair-friendly locations. We adjust the height of the canvases and ensure there is plenty of room for movement, making sure no one is left out of the fun.

Do you provide extra assistance for those with limited fine motor skills?

Yes, we do! For groups with learning disabilities or neurodivergent participants, we often provide pre-sketched canvases or stencils. This helps reduce the 'fear of the blank page' and allows participants to focus on the sensory joy of applying colour and layering paint. It ensures everyone walks away with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of.

How long does a typical special needs workshop last?

Our standard workshops usually last between 1.5 to 2 hours. However, we are completely flexible. We understand that some groups may need more frequent breaks or a slower pace to process instructions. We work closely with your group leaders to determine the ideal duration that keeps engagement high without causing fatigue or overstimulation.

What is the age limit for these graffiti workshops?

Generally, we recommend our workshops for ages 6 and up, but there is no upper limit! We have hosted wonderful sessions for both children and adults with special needs. The beauty of graffiti is that it’s a 'big' movement art form, making it physically engaging and fun for various age groups and physical ability levels.

Can carers and teachers participate in the workshop too?

We haven't forgotten the staff! We find that these workshops are a fantastic bonding experience for both clients and their carers or teachers. While our professional artists lead the session, we welcome and encourage staff to get stuck in, pick up a can, and help create a collaborative atmosphere of 'controlled' creative chaos!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your special needs group in Pardubice? It’s more than just painting; it’s about breaking barriers and building confidence through a medium that is bold and forgiving.

Sensory Engagement: The texture of the spray, the sound of the can, and the visual pop of colours provide a rich sensory experience. 🌈
Fine & Gross Motor Skills: Pressing the nozzle and moving the arm in large arcs is fantastic for physical coordination. 💪
Zero-Pressure Environment: In graffiti, "drips" are just part of the style! There’s no right or wrong way to express yourself. 🏆
Professional Guidance: Our artists are not just talented; they are patient, encouraging, and experienced in working with diverse needs.
Customised for You: We adapt everything from the paint type to the height of the boards to ensure 100% participation.
Social Connection: Creating a collaborative mural fosters a wonderful sense of community and teamwork. 🤝

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us! We’ll chat about your group’s specific needs, mobility requirements, and sensory preferences in Pardubice.
Custom session design: Our artists create a tailored plan, choosing the right materials (like low-odour paint) and prep work (like pre-drawn outlines).
Safe setup: We arrive at the Pardubice location early to set up protective flooring, canvases, and all necessary safety gear like overalls and masks.
Creative introduction: We start with a gentle, high-energy demo! Our artists show how the cans work in a way that’s easy to follow and exciting.
Practice run: Everyone gets a chance to 'test' the spray cans on a practice board to get used to the pressure and the sound.
The main event: Participants start working on their own canvases or a large group mural, guided step-by-step by our patient instructors.
Detailing and finishing: We help add those final 'pops' of colour and sharp lines that make the artwork look professional and vibrant.
The grand reveal: We take plenty of photos of the group with their finished masterpieces—a proud moment for everyone involved!
Easy cleanup: We handle all the cleaning and packing up, leaving you with nothing but great memories and amazing art.

Local culture

Pardubice might be famous for its historic Grand Pardubice Steeplechase and delicious gingerbread, but there’s a growing contemporary pulse in the city that we love to tap into. The local street art scene here is intimate and welcoming, reflecting the friendly nature of the city itself. We aim to bring that same community spirit into our workshops.

Fun Fact: Did you know Pardubice is often called the "City of Horses"? While we might not be painting actual horses (unless you want to!), we take inspiration from the city's dynamic energy and speed. Whether we’re setting up near the Elbe river or at a local community centre, we make sure the local Pardubice vibe shines through in every spray! 🐎✨
