Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority for primary school groups. We use high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary protective gear, including gloves and masks. Our professional artists are experienced in working with younger children, ensuring they follow safety protocols while having an absolute blast. We manage the environment so teachers can relax while students explore their creativity in a controlled, secure outdoor setting.

How long does a typical school session last?

A standard workshop for primary schools in Pardubice usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is perfect for keeping kids engaged without them getting overly tired. We start with a brief history and safety talk, move into technique practice, and spend the bulk of the time on the actual creation. We can also adjust the duration to fit your specific school timetable if needed!

Do the students need any prior drawing or painting skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our artists guide the students through every step, from holding the can to creating cool effects. Whether a child is naturally artistic or has never picked up a paintbrush, they will walk away with a sense of achievement and a piece of art they can be proud of. It’s all about the process and having fun!

What should the pupils wear for the workshop?

We recommend that students wear old clothes that you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide protective gear like gloves and masks, spray paint can be unpredictable in the wind! Comfortable shoes are also a must as we'll be standing and moving around for a couple of hours. Think of it like a messy art class taken to the next level.

What is the maximum group size for a school workshop?

We can accommodate groups of almost any size! For primary schools, we often work with single classes or entire year groups. To ensure everyone gets enough attention from our artists, we scale our team accordingly. If you have a particularly large group in Pardubice, we simply bring more instructors and cans to make sure no one is left waiting in line.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Weather in the Czech Republic can be unpredictable! If it looks like rain, we can often move the workshop to a sheltered outdoor area or reschedule for a better day. Since we don't require upfront payments, rescheduling is stress-free. We always keep a close eye on the forecast and stay in touch with your school coordinators to ensure the best possible experience.

Can we choose a specific theme for the artwork?

Definitely! We love it when schools have a specific theme, such as 'The Environment', 'Friendship', or 'Pardubice History'. Our artists can help the children design a mural that reflects your current curriculum. It’s a fantastic way to reinforce classroom learning through a physical, creative activity that the kids will remember for years to come. Just let us know your ideas!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your primary schoolers? It’s more than just spraying paint on a wall; it’s a powerful tool for development and team building! 🚀

Boosts Confidence: Seeing a giant piece of art they helped create gives kids a massive sense of pride. 💪
Encourages Teamwork: Working on a large mural requires students to communicate and collaborate effectively. 🤝
Safe & Professional: We handle everything from protective gear to expert supervision, making it a worry-free day for teachers. 🛡️
Creative Freedom: There are no "mistakes" in graffiti, only opportunities for new designs! 🌈
Interactive Learning: We bring the history and "rules" of street art to life in a way textbooks can't. 🎤
No Stress Booking: With our "pay after" policy and backup artists, your event is in safe hands. 🏆

Step by step

Introduction & Safety: We start with a fun intro about the history of street art and a vital safety briefing on how to use the equipment properly.
The Art of the Tag: Students learn the basics of "tagging" and lettering, discovering how to turn their name or a word into a piece of art.
Practising Technique: Before hitting the big wall, kids practice spray control, learning how to make thin lines, thick fills, and cool flares.
Sketching the Mural: Our artists help the group outline a large-scale design, often based on a theme or the school's values.
Adding the Colour: This is the best part! Under our guidance, the students fill in the artwork with a vibrant palette of professional spray paints.
Adding Details & Outlines: We teach the kids how to "pop" their work by adding sharp outlines and shiny highlights for that pro look.
Grand Reveal & Photos: We step back to admire the collective masterpiece and take group photos for the school gallery or social media.
Clean Up: We ensure the area is left tidy, showing the kids that street art is about respect and creativity, not mess.

Local culture

Pardubice is famous for its gingerbread and the legendary Velká Pardubická steeplechase, but there is also a growing appreciation for urban culture here! While the city is steeped in history, its younger generation is looking for modern ways to express their identity. We love bringing our workshops to this beautiful corner of the Czech Republic, bridging the gap between traditional heritage and contemporary street art.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Pardubice is often called the "City of Horses"? During our workshops here, many students love to incorporate horse motifs or "gingerbread man" characters into their graffiti designs!

Whether we're setting up near the scenic Elbe river or right on your school grounds, the atmosphere in Pardubice is always buzzing with local pride and creative energy. It's the perfect backdrop for a day of spray-painting and teamwork! 🎨✨
