Do the students need any prior drawing or art experience?

No artistic background is needed at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our professional street artists guide the students through every step, from holding the can correctly to layering colours and adding highlights. We focus on the process and having a great time, ensuring every student leaves with a piece of art they can be proud of, regardless of their starting skill level.

Is the workshop safe for secondary school students?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier to control and premium paint that meets safety standards. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before any paint is sprayed, ensuring a controlled and professional environment for the entire secondary school group.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop session last?

A standard workshop for secondary schools in Pardubice usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for the introductory history talk, technique practice, and the creation of the final artwork. However, we are flexible! If you have a specific school schedule to stick to, we can tailor the duration to fit your morning or afternoon sessions perfectly.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor workshop?

Pardubice weather can be unpredictable, but we have you covered! If we are planning an outdoor session and rain is forecast, we can often relocate to a sheltered outdoor spot or use an indoor space with large canvases and water-based, low-odour spray paints. Alternatively, we can reschedule to a better day. We always have backup plans to ensure your school event goes ahead smoothly.

What materials do we need to provide for the workshop?

Everything is included! We bring the spray cans in a huge range of colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear (overalls, gloves, masks), and the surfaces to paint on—whether that’s a collective wall or individual canvases for students to take home. You just need to provide the space and enthusiastic students; we take care of all the logistics and cleanup!

Can the workshop be themed around a specific school project?

Absolutely! We love it when schools have a specific theme, such as environmental awareness, local Pardubice history, or school values like 'teamwork' or 'creativity'. We can design the workshop around these concepts, helping students brainstorm how to translate these big ideas into visual street art. It's a fantastic way to link the creative process back to the school curriculum.

The experience

Ditch the textbooks for a day and let your students explore their creative potential through spray paint! Here is why a graffiti workshop is the ultimate choice for your Pardubice school:

🔥 Unleash Creativity: It’s a judgment-free zone where students can express their unique identity through bold colours and shapes.
🤝 Boost Teamwork: Working on a large-scale mural teaches students how to collaborate and communicate to achieve a shared vision.
✨ Build Confidence: Seeing a massive piece of art come to life from their own hands gives students an incredible sense of achievement.
🛡️ Safe & Professional: We handle all the safety gear and use pro-grade materials, so you can focus on the fun.
🏆 Memorable Experience: This isn't just another art class; it's a high-energy event that students will talk about for the rest of the year!

Step by step

Introduction & History: We start with a cool look at the roots of graffiti culture and how it evolved into modern street art.
Safety & Gear: Every student gets kitted out in protective overalls, masks, and gloves while we explain the safety rules.
The Masterclass: Our pro artists demonstrate spray can techniques, from 'fat caps' for filling to 'skinny caps' for sharp outlines.
Sketching the Vision: Students grab paper and markers to plan their design, focusing on lettering, characters, or abstract shapes.
First Strokes: Time to pick up the cans! Students practice basic lines and circles on a practice surface to get a feel for the pressure.
Creating the Piece: Whether on a shared mural or individual canvases, the students start bringing their sketches to life with vibrant colours.
Adding the Details: We teach how to add depth with 3D effects, highlights, and that all-important final outline to make the art pop.
The Big Reveal: We finish with a group gallery walk-through where students explain their work and take epic group photos.

Local culture

Pardubice is a city that prides itself on its Gingerbread tradition and sporting legends, but there is a growing pulse of modern street culture here too. We love bringing our workshops to this city because the architectural mix of the historic centre and the more industrial outskirts provides the perfect backdrop for urban expression. Whether we're setting up near the Elbe river or in a school courtyard, the local vibe is always inspiring.

Fun Fact: Did you know Pardubice has its own dedicated 'legal walls' where artists can paint freely? It’s part of a growing movement in the Czech Republic to recognise street art as a legitimate and beautiful form of public expression! 🎨

Our workshop prices are designed to be accessible for schools while ensuring the highest quality materials and professional guidance.
