Absolutely no prior experience is needed! Our Nijmegen training is designed for educators of all skill levels. Whether you are a total beginner who has never touched a spray can or a seasoned art teacher looking to refine your technique, our professional artists will guide you through the basics of can control, safety, and lettering. By the end of the session, you'll have the confidence to explain these concepts to your own students.

What happens if it rains on the day of my training in Nijmegen?

Nijmegen is famously known for its fickle weather, but we've got you covered. We can host the professional development training at our dedicated indoor graffiti hall or use a covered outdoor location. If the weather is truly extreme, we can easily reschedule thanks to our flexible booking policy. Your comfort and the safety of your teaching materials are always our top priorities.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything you need to get started. This includes high-quality spray cans with various nozzles (caps), protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks. We also provide the canvases or boards you'll be practicing on. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and some comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on!

What if the instructor is unavailable at the last minute?

We pride ourselves on reliability. We have a large network of professional backup artists in the Gelderland region. In the rare event that your primary instructor is unable to make it due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a backup artist will step in to ensure your training goes ahead exactly as planned. We never cancel on our teachers!

Is the spray paint safe to use in a school environment?

Sustainability and safety are core parts of our curriculum. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier to control and produce less fumes, and we always use high-quality FFP3 masks for respiratory protection. During the training, we'll teach you how to set up a safe workspace for your students, including proper ventilation and environment-friendly disposal of cans.

Will you teach us about the legal aspects of graffiti?

While we focus on the artistic and educational side, we also cover the legal basics. We'll teach you the difference between 'street art' (legal) and 'graffiti' (illegal), and show you how to find legal 'Hall of Fame' spots in Nijmegen, like the Honigcomplex area. Providing your students with a legal outlet for their creativity is the best way to prevent vandalism.
