Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Our Savusavu team building sessions are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering advanced shading techniques. You don't need to be 'artistic' to have a blast; the focus is on collaboration, creativity, and enjoying the process together as a team in a beautiful tropical setting.

Is the graffiti workshop safe and what gear is provided?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including high-quality masks, gloves, and aprons to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paints and conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free and fun experience for your entire corporate group.

How long does a typical team building session last?

A typical team building session in Savusavu lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This includes the introductory briefing, technique practice, and the final collaborative masterpiece. We can easily adjust the timing to fit your corporate itinerary, whether you want a quick energiser between meetings or a full-afternoon deep dive into the world of urban street art.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you are a small boutique team of 10 or a large corporate department of 100+, we can accommodate you. For larger groups, we bring in additional professional artists and set up multiple 'creativity stations' to ensure everyone gets hands-on time and expert guidance throughout the workshop. No one gets left behind!

How does the 'no upfront payment' policy work?

We believe in stress-free planning. You don't need to pay anything upfront when booking your Savusavu event. You can settle the payment after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. This 'pay-later' policy is part of our commitment to ensuring you have a risk-free and completely enjoyable corporate event.

Where in Savusavu do the workshops take place?

We can come to you! If your resort or office in Savusavu has a suitable outdoor area, we can set up there. Alternatively, we can arrange a vibrant local spot that captures the essence of Fiji. We handle all the logistics, including the setup of mobile graffiti walls, so you can focus entirely on the team-building aspect of the day.

The experience

Traditional team building can sometimes feel like a chore. Graffiti art flips the script, offering a hands-on experience that breaks down hierarchies and encourages genuine connection. Here is why our workshop is the best choice for your next Savusavu corporate event:

Break the ice instantly: Nothing bonds a team like donning masks and creating something bold together for the first time. 🎤
Foster real collaboration: Our murals require communication and planning, mirroring the best workplace dynamics. 🤝
Zero pressure, high reward: We focus on the "fun" in functional, ensuring every team member feels successful regardless of their artistic skill. 🏆
Lasting memories: Unlike a standard lunch, your team will be talking about the time they "tagged" Savusavu for months to come. 📸
Professional facilitators: We aren't just artists; we are experts at managing groups and ensuring everyone stays engaged and safe. 💪
Customised for your brand: We can incorporate your company colours, logos, and mission statements into the final artwork. 🏢

Step by step

The warm-up: We start with an energetic introduction to graffiti culture and a quick safety briefing to get everyone comfortable.
Sketching the vision: Your team brainstorms ideas and sketches out a rough design that represents your company's goals or values.
Can control 101: Our expert artists teach you the basics—how to create thin lines, thick fills, and smooth gradients with the spray can.
Outline magic: Learn how to transfer your paper sketches onto the large-scale canvas or mobile graffiti wall.
Filling with colour: This is the fun part! The whole team dives in to add vibrant colours and textures to the collective artwork.
Refining details: Use 'cutting' techniques and highlights to make your piece pop and look professionally finished.
The grand reveal: Step back and admire the massive masterpiece your team has created together—it makes for an epic group photo!
Clean up & cheers: We handle all the mess while you celebrate your team's new creative skills and strengthened bonds.

Local culture

Savusavu isn't just a destination; it's a mood. Known for its stunning bay and geothermal hot springs, it’s the perfect backdrop for a creative explosion. While Vanua Levu is famous for its natural beauty, we bring a modern, urban edge to the island. Our workshops tap into the "Bula" spirit—friendship, community, and energy—reimagined through the lens of street art. Imagine spraying a masterpiece while the sun sets over Nakelo Treasure Island or near the iconic Savusavu Yacht Club. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Savusavu is often called the "Hidden Paradise" of Fiji? While it’s peaceful and serene, the local creativity is bubbling just under the surface—much like the town's famous volcanic hot springs!

We love integrating local Fijian motifs and patterns into our graffiti sessions, blending traditional Pacific aesthetics with modern street styles to create something truly unique to your Savusavu experience.
