The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your secondary students in Savusavu? It’s not just about paint—it’s about perspective. Here’s why schools love having Graffitifun visit:

  • Engagement through the roof: Even the hardest-to-reach students engage when you swap a pen for a spray can. It's high-impact and instantly rewarding! 🔥
  • Skill development: Students learn about colour theory, typography, and scale in a way that feels totally relevant to their world. 🎨
  • Stress-free for teachers: We bring everything and handle the cleanup. You can sit back or, better yet, grab a can and join in! ☕
  • Confidence boost: Seeing a giant piece of art they've created from scratch gives students a massive sense of pride and achievement. 🏆
  • Legal & safe: We focus on the artistic side of graffiti, teaching students how to respect public spaces while expressing themselves. 🛡️
  • Flexible booking: No upfront payment and backup artists ready to go means your school event is guaranteed to happen. 💪

Beyond our secondary school programmes, we also offer festivals, kids parties, and 3D street art experiences across Fiji! 🎉

Step by step

  1. Intro & inspiration: We kick things off with a high-energy intro, looking at the evolution of street art from NYC subways to the galleries of the world.
  2. Safety first: Every student gets kitted out with professional masks, gloves, and protective gear. Safety is our top priority before we touch a can.
  3. Can control basics: Artists demonstrate how to hold the can, adjust pressure, and create different line widths – the foundation of all great graffiti.
  4. Sketching the vision: Students grab paper and markers to map out their ideas, learning how to structure letters and 'throw-ups' like a pro.
  5. First lines: Time to hit the canvas! Students start by outlining their designs, getting a feel for the spray paint on a vertical surface.
  6. Filling & fading: We teach the secrets of 'fills' and 'fades,' showing students how to blend colours and create that iconic 3D effect.
  7. The finishing touch: Adding highlights and 'force fields' (outer outlines) to make the artwork pop and look professionally finished.
  8. The big reveal: We gather the group to admire the collective work, taking photos of the incredible masterpieces created by the students.
  9. Clean up & wrap: Our team handles the tidy-up, leaving nothing behind but great memories and amazing art.

Local culture

Street art in Savusavu

Savusavu, known as the "Hidden Paradise" of Fiji, might be famous for its hot springs and stunning bay, but there’s a growing appetite for modern creative expression among its youth. We love bringing our workshops to this part of Vanua Levu, where the laid-back island vibes meet the sharp, vibrant lines of street art. While the traditional local art scene is rich with masi and carving, our graffiti sessions offer a contemporary bridge for students to explore global trends right from their own backyard. 🌴

🎨 Fun Savusavu Fact: Did you know Savusavu is home to unique geothermal activity? While we can't paint on the steam, the warmth of the community here makes it one of our favourite places to host creative sessions!

In addition to Savusavu, we also bring our spray-can magic to Suva, Nadi, Lautoka, and Nausori. We are committed to fostering the next generation of Fijian artists across the islands. 🇫🇯

Pricing

We believe every school's needs are unique, which is why we don't do 'one size fits all' pricing. Whether you want a one-off session for an art class or a week-long residency to paint a massive school mural, we'll work out a fair deal for you. 💸
