Do I need any previous art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our Chicago graffiti workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional street artists guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering complex layering techniques. We believe everyone has a 'tag' inside them, and we are here to help you find it. Most students are shocked by the high-quality piece they produce by the end of the session.

Is the workshop safe for students?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean and your lungs safe. We only use professional-grade spray paint in well-ventilated outdoor or indoor spaces. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a fun and hazard-free environment for all university participants.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to create a masterpiece. This includes a wide variety of premium spray paint colors, caps for different line widths, protective gear (suits/gloves/masks), and the 'canvas' (which can be a wall or individual boards). You only need to bring your enthusiasm and wear comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a little dusty!

How long does a typical session last?

Standard university workshops typically run between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This includes the introductory history of Chicago street art, the technical demonstration, individual practice time, and the creation of the final group mural or individual pieces. We can adjust the timing to fit into specific Greek life events, orientation schedules, or club meeting windows.

Can you host the workshop directly on our campus?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops at various authorized street art locations across Chicago, or we can bring the 'mobile wall' directly to your campus or courtyard. If you have an indoor space with adequate ventilation or an outdoor quad, we can likely make it happen. We love bringing the art directly to the student body!

Do students get to take their artwork home?

Yes, we offer two main formats. We can facilitate a large collaborative mural where everyone contributes to one massive piece of art (perfect for dorm decor or student unions), or we can set up individual canvases so every student has a personalized piece of street art to take back to their room. Just let us know your preference when booking.

What is your cancellation and payment policy?

We offer one of the most flexible booking policies in Chicago. We don't require any upfront payment—you can pay after the workshop is completed. Additionally, we have backup artists on standby for every event, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation ruining your scheduled university event.
