Do we need prior art experience to enjoy the workshop?

Absolutely not! Our Guangzhou university workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned scribblers. Our professional artists break down the process into simple, manageable steps. We'll start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex 'wildstyle' techniques. You'll be amazed at what you can create with a little guidance and a can of high-quality paint. It’s all about having a blast and trying something new!

How long does a typical university graffiti session last?

Standard sessions usually run between 1.5 to 3 hours. For university groups in Guangzhou, we find the 2-hour sweet spot works best—it gives you enough time to learn the techniques, practice your 'tag', and complete a collaborative mural or individual canvas without rushing. If you're planning a larger campus festival or a multi-day orientation event, we can easily adapt the schedule to fit your specific needs. Just let us know your timeframe!

Is spray painting safe for students?

Your safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable ponchos to keep your clothes clean. We also conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially set-up indoor spaces. Our lead artists are experienced professionals who provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. It's all the fun of street art with none of the risks!

What materials do you provide for the workshop?

We’ve got you covered! We bring everything: premium spray paint in a rainbow of colours, various 'caps' for different line widths, protective gear, and the surfaces themselves (whether that’s a temporary wall or individual canvases). All we need from your university is a space to paint and some enthusiastic students. We even handle the setup and the cleanup, so you can focus entirely on the creative vibe.

How does the payment process work for student organisations?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy, meaning you don't have to worry about upfront payments while navigating university admin or student union budgets. You can book your date with confidence, and we’ll handle the invoice once the event is successfully completed. It’s a hassle-free process designed to make organising student events as smooth as possible.

Do you have a backup plan for bad weather or cancellations?

Yes, we do! If the weather in Guangzhou turns sour, we have backup plans. We can move the session to a sheltered outdoor area or use professional-grade water-based pens and indoor-safe techniques if a suitable indoor venue is available. Additionally, we have a network of backup artists to ensure that your event goes ahead even if an instructor falls ill. Your university event is safe in our hands!

Step by step

Concept and planning: We start by chatting about your vision. Whether it's a student union theme or a free-form creative session, we'll help you plan the perfect vibe for your Guangzhou campus event.
Safety first: Once we’re on-site, everyone gets kitted out in protective gear. We provide masks, gloves, and overalls to ensure the only thing getting painted is the wall!
Mastering the 'Can': Our pro artists show you the ropes—literally. You'll learn how to hold the spray can, control pressure, and swap out caps for different effects and line weights.
Sketching the design: Before the paint flies, we help you sketch out your ideas. Students can collaborate on a massive mural or work on individual pieces that reflect their personality.
Filling and fading: Now for the colour! You'll learn how to fill in large areas efficiently and how to create those iconic graffiti gradients and fades that look incredibly professional.
The 'Power-Line': This is where the art pops. We'll teach you how to add outlines and highlights—the secret to making 3D-style street art really stand out from the background.
Final flourishes: Add those final tags, 'shines', and artistic details. Our instructors are on hand to give tips and help you polish your masterpiece.
The big reveal: Step back and admire the work! We wrap up with a group photo session so you can show off your team's creative prowess to the rest of the university.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Guangzhou is a city where ancient tradition meets futuristic ambition, and its street art scene is no different. From the creative hubs in the Redtory Design District to the hidden gems in Xiaozhou Village, the city is a canvas for those who know where to look. By bringing a graffiti workshop to your university, you're tapping into the pulse of "Canton" creativity. It’s the perfect way for students to connect with the city's modern identity while building a community on campus. 🔥

Fun fact: Guangzhou was one of the first cities in China to embrace hip-hop culture in the late 90s, making it a spiritual home for Chinese graffiti and urban expression! 🎤

Whether you're studying at Sun Yat-sen University or the South China University of Technology, we bring the vibe directly to you. We love seeing how the local "GZ" energy inspires the bold colours and unique styles that emerge during our sessions. Let’s turn that campus courtyard into a temporary gallery! 🏆

Pricing

We believe every university event is unique, which is why we don't do "one-size-fits-all" pricing. Whether you're a small student club or a large faculty planning a graduation bash, we'll tailor a package that fits your budget. Prices depend on the number of participants, the duration of the session, and the type of materials used.
