Do the participants need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! Our Guangzhou youth projects are designed for total beginners. Our professional street artists start with basic techniques—like how to hold the spray can and control the pressure—before moving on to more complex fills and outlines. We create a supportive, non-intimidating environment where every young person can feel like a pro by the end of the session. It's all about building confidence through creativity.

What safety measures are in place for the kids?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable coveralls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our spray paints are low-odour and chosen for their ease of use. Additionally, our instructors are experienced in managing groups and ensure that all safety protocols are followed strictly throughout the workshop. We provide a fun environment that doesn't compromise on well-being.

How long does a typical youth graffiti workshop last?

A standard youth project workshop in Guangzhou usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This gives the group enough time to learn the theory, practice their 'tagging' on practice boards, and then collaborate on a final masterpiece. We can also adapt the timing to fit into a full-day youth programme or a shorter afternoon session depending on your specific needs and schedule.

What is the maximum group size for a youth project?

We can accommodate a wide range of group sizes! Whether you have a small youth club of 10 people or a large community event with 50+ participants, we've got you covered. For larger groups, we simply bring in more of our professional backup artists to ensure everyone gets individual attention and remains engaged throughout the creative process. No group is too big or too small!

Where in Guangzhou do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We have several legal street art locations across Guangzhou where we can host the workshop. Alternatively, if you have a suitable outdoor space at your youth centre or school with enough ventilation, we can bring the entire mobile studio to you. We'll handle the logistics of protecting the surrounding area so you can focus on the fun part—the art itself!

Are all the materials included in the price?

We provide everything! Your booking includes all premium spray paint cans in a huge variety of colours, caps (nozzles), protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the canvases or boards for the artwork. There are no hidden costs or extra supplies to buy. We even bring our own music to keep the energy high while the youth group gets into their creative flow.

How do we book a workshop for our group?

It’s super easy! Just fill out our contact form or request a quote via the website. We don't require any upfront payment—you only pay after the workshop is complete. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about a cancellation. Once we've chatted about your group size and date, we'll handle the rest of the planning!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth project in Guangzhou? It's more than just painting on walls—it's about building a community and discovering hidden talents! 🎤

Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant, colourful mural completed by their own hands gives young people an incredible sense of achievement. 💪
Safe & professional: We provide all the gear and expert guidance, ensuring a mess-free and totally safe environment for everyone.
Encourages teamwork: Graffiti is often a collaborative effort; participants learn to communicate and work together to finish the masterpiece.
Alternative expression: It’s a great outlet for those who might not enjoy traditional sports or academic subjects. 🎨
Zero risk: With our "pay after the workshop" policy and backup artists, your project is in the safest hands in the industry.
Cultural connection: We bridge the gap between global street art culture and the unique local vibe of Guangzhou.

Step by step

Introduction & safety briefing: We kick things off with a quick chat about street art history and a full safety rundown. Everyone gets suited up in their protective gear! 🛡️
The art of the tag: Participants learn the basics of 'tagging'—creating their own signature style and understanding letter flow on paper or practice boards.
Can control 101: Our pro artists demonstrate how to handle the spray cans, teaching various nozzle techniques for thin lines, wide flares, and smooth gradients.
Sketching the concept: The youth group collaborates on a theme or a specific design for their big project, learning how to scale up an idea.
Outline and fill: Time to hit the wall! Under expert guidance, the participants start filling in the colours and sharpening those all-important outlines. 🎨
Adding the 'pop': We teach advanced tricks like shines, shadows, and 3D effects to make the artwork jump off the surface.
Fine-tuning: Our instructors help the group add the finishing touches and 'clean' the edges for a professional-looking result.
Group photo and cleanup: We capture the moment with some epic photos of the team and their masterpiece before packing up the gear. 📸
Masterpiece reveal: The session ends with a sense of pride and a tangible piece of art that the community or the youth can keep!

Local culture

Guangzhou has always been a city of innovators, and the local street art scene is no different. While the city is famous for its Cantonese heritage and ancient temples, modern 'Canton' is home to a burgeoning community of urban artists. You can spot incredible murals tucked away in the creative hubs like Redtory or the Enning Road area, where old meets new in spectacular fashion. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Guangzhou was one of the first cities in China to embrace hip-hop culture in the late '90s? The local scene is deeply rooted in 'GZ' pride, and our workshops often draw inspiration from the city's unique blend of calligraphy and modern graffiti styles! 🔥

By bringing a youth project to this city, you're plugging into a rich lineage of Southern Chinese creativity. We love showing young locals how they can contribute to the visual identity of their own neighbourhoods, fostering a sense of ownership and pride in the streets of Guangzhou.

Pricing

Every youth project is unique! Whether you're planning a one-off session or a week-long creative intensive, we offer flexible solutions locally in Guangzhou. Prices depend on your group size, the duration, and the specific setup of your location.
