Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Our workshop is designed for complete beginners. Our professional graffiti artists will guide you through the basics, from how to hold the spray can to creating clean lines and fills. Most university students start with zero experience and leave with a masterpiece they are proud of. We focus on technique, safety, and, most importantly, having a great time while you learn.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

We take safety seriously. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. The workshop is held in a well-ventilated outdoor area or a specifically designated indoor space. Our instructors are experienced professionals who oversee the entire process, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly and stays safe while getting creative.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Standard university workshops usually last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a safety demo, practice sessions on plastic film, and then the final creation of your main piece. If you have a specific schedule or a larger event in Randers, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your needs.

What materials do you provide?

Everything is included! We bring all the professional spray paint in a wide variety of colours, caps, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the surfaces to paint on. We can set up large-scale cellophane walls between poles or provide individual canvases depending on your university's preference. You just need to bring your energy and some old shoes!

What happens if it rains on the day?

Don't worry, we won't let the Danish weather stop the fun! If rain is forecast for your Randers event, we can often move the workshop to a sheltered outdoor area or use an indoor space with proper ventilation. We always check the forecast in advance and coordinate with you to ensure a backup plan is in place so the creative energy keeps flowing.

Can you accommodate large university groups?

We are very flexible when it comes to group sizes. Whether you are a small student committee of 10 or a massive freshers' week event with over 100 students, we have the staff and equipment to handle it. For very large groups, we often run several stations or rotating sessions so everyone gets plenty of time with the spray cans.

Can we create a collaborative mural together?

Yes! One of the best parts of our university workshops is the collaborative nature of street art. We often have groups work together on a large communal mural that represents their faculty, student house, or graduating class. It’s a fantastic way to build team spirit and create a shared memory that reflects the collective identity of your student group.

Local culture

Randers is a city that prides itself on its unique character, from the tropical vibes of Randers Regnskov to the historic streets of the city centre. Choosing a graffiti workshop here means tapping into that same spirit of innovation and grit. While cities like Aarhus or Copenhagen are often in the spotlight, Randers has a hidden urban soul that's perfect for a street art takeover. Our workshops celebrate this local identity by encouraging students to draw inspiration from the city's blend of industrial heritage and natural beauty. 🎨

Fun fact: Randers is famous for its 'Hvidsten Group' history and its legendary horses, but did you know the city's urban landscape is becoming a canvas for more and more modern murals every year? You could be part of the next wave of creative talent!
