Is graffiti painting safe for teenagers and young people?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our professional instructors in Randers are experienced in working with youth groups and ensure a controlled environment where everyone follows safety protocols. Our spray paints are low-odour and compliant with health standards, making the creative process both fun and secure for everyone involved.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

Ideally, we recommend a minimum group of 10 participants for our youth projects to ensure a vibrant, collaborative atmosphere. However, we are very flexible! Whether you have a small youth club or a large school year-group, we can scale our artist team to accommodate you. For larger groups in Randers, we often bring extra instructors to ensure every participant gets the personal guidance they need to master the spray can.

Do the participants need to have any drawing or art experience?

No prior artistic skills are needed! Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and accessible. Our instructors break down the process into simple, manageable steps—from holding the can to creating shadows. Most youth participants are amazed at what they can create in just a few hours. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun, ensuring every young person leaves feeling like a successful artist.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Weather doesn't have to stop the fun! While we love painting outdoors in the fresh Randers air, we always have backup plans. We can often arrange indoor locations or use large spans of protective plastic to create a 'pop-up studio' in a hall or gym. Additionally, because we have a large team of backup artists, we almost never cancel a session due to staffing issues. We make it happen!

How long does a typical youth project session last?

Standard youth workshops typically last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a thorough introduction, some practice runs, and the creation of a final masterpiece. If you are looking for a more intensive project—like a full-day mural for a youth centre—we can certainly customise the duration to fit your specific goals and schedule. Just let us know what you need!

Are materials like paint and masks included in the price?

We bring everything! The workshop price includes all professional spray paint, caps, protective clothing (suits, gloves, masks), and the 'canvas' (whether that’s a wall, boards, or individual canvases). You just need to provide the enthusiastic participants and a location (though we can help find one in Randers if needed). We even handle the clean-up of our materials afterwards, making it stress-free for organisers.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti project for your next youth event in Randers? It’s more than just paint on a wall—it’s an experience that stays with them forever. Check out the benefits: 💪

Boosts Confidence: Seeing a giant piece of art they created themselves gives young people a massive sense of achievement. 🏆
Team Building: Working on a collaborative mural teaches communication and cooperation in a way a classroom never could.
Safe & Legal: We teach the difference between vandalism and street art, providing a safe, legal outlet for expression.
Stress Relief: There is something incredibly therapeutic and 'zen' about the flow of a spray can. 🧘‍♂️
Professional Mentors: Our artists aren't just teachers; they are active street artists who inspire and connect with the youth.
No Risk: With our 100% satisfaction focus and 'pay after' policy, your project is in safe hands.

Step by step

Intro & Inspiration: We start with a high-energy intro about the history of street art and show some cool examples to get the creative juices flowing. ✨
Safety First: Everyone gets suited up in protective gear. We explain how to use the equipment safely and responsibly.
Mastering the Can: Our pros demonstrate basic techniques—lines, dots, and fades. Then, the youth get to practice their first 'tags' on practice surfaces.
Design Phase: Participants sketch out their ideas. Whether it's a team mural or individual pieces, we help refine the concepts. 🎨
Outline & Fill: This is where the magic happens! Participants start spray-painting their main shapes and filling them with vibrant colours.
The Professional Touch: Our artists teach 'second outlines' and highlights—the tricks that make the artwork really pop and look professional. 🔥
Final Details: Adding those sharp edges and cool background effects to finish the masterpiece.
Photo Op & Gallery Walk: We celebrate the hard work with a group photo and a 'show and tell' of the created art. 📸
Clean Up: We pack up all the gear, leaving nothing behind but great memories and incredible art.

Local culture

Randers has a soul that blends historic charm with a gritty, industrial edge—the perfect backdrop for street art! From the bustling streets near Randers Regnskov to the creative pockets in the North, the city is increasingly embracing urban expression. We love the local energy here; there’s a real sense of community pride that shines through when local youth get together to paint.

Fun Fact: Did you know Randers is famous for its 'Hvidsten Group' history? While the past is storied, the future is being painted right now by the next generation of artists in the city's growing urban art scene! 🇩🇰

Our workshops tap into this local spirit, giving Randers' youth a chance to contribute to the visual culture of their own neighbourhoods in a legal, positive, and super-fun way.
