The experience

Why choose a graffiti project for your youth group in Espoo? It’s about more than just paint on a wall—it’s about building confidence and community. Here’s why it works:

  • Total Inclusivity: Street art doesn't care about your grades or sports ability. Everyone starts on a level playing field! 🏆
  • Street Cred & Confidence: There’s nothing quite like the boost a teenager gets from seeing their work on a massive scale.
  • Teamwork in Action: Creating a mural requires collaboration, communication, and compromise—skills that last a lifetime. 🔥
  • Local Pride: When kids help decorate their own neighbourhood, they feel a deeper connection and responsibility for their environment.
  • Zero Stress Booking: With our "pay after the workshop" policy and backup artists, your planning process is totally worry-free. ✨

Step by step

  1. Initial consultation: Reach out to us to share your vision for the youth project in Espoo. We’ll discuss group size, goals, and potential dates.
  2. Design brainstorming: We help the youth group brainstorm a theme. Whether it’s about local identity, social issues, or just pure abstract art, we guide the creative process.
  3. Safety & technique briefing: On the day, we start with the basics. We teach the kids how to handle the cans, create different lines, and stay safe while painting.
  4. Practice session: Before hitting the main wall, everyone gets a chance to practice their 'tag' and get a feel for the pressure of the spray cans.
  5. Outline & fill: Our lead artist sketches the main design, and the participants work together to fill in the colours, learning about gradients and shading.
  6. Detailing & sharpening: We teach the group how to add highlights and sharp outlines to make the artwork really "pop" off the surface.
  7. The big reveal: We take a step back to admire the finished mural. It’s a great moment for group photos and a huge sense of collective achievement!
  8. Clean up: We handle the tidy-up, ensuring the site is left spotless and all materials are packed away professionally.

Good to know

Our youth projects are designed to be as seamless as possible for organisers. Here’s what you need to know about the logistics:

  • Duration: Typically 1.5 to 3 hours, but we can plan full-day intensives or multi-day projects. ⏱️
  • Group Sizes: We cater to everything from small groups of 10 to large community events with 50+ participants.
  • Included: All spray paint, protective gear (suits, gloves, masks), professional guidance, and surfaces/canvases. 👕
  • Safety: We use high-quality equipment and our artists are experienced in managing youth groups with a focus on safety and mutual respect.
  • Flexibility: We operate year-round. While outdoor sessions are great in summer, we have indoor solutions for the Finnish winter! ❄️

Local culture

Street art in Espoo

Espoo is more than just a tech hub; it's a city with a deep appreciation for modern design and evolving urban spaces. We love working here because the community truly values innovative ways to engage the younger generation. Whether we're setting up near the Espoo Museum of Modern Art (EMMA) or bringing some colour to the surroundings of the Iso Omena district, we always find that Espoo's youth have a unique perspective to share. Finland has a growing street art scene, and we’re proud to be part of the movement that provides legal, creative outlets for self-expression.

Fun Fact: Did you know Espoo is known as a "network city" with several distinct centres? This means we have plenty of different neighbourhoods, each with its own local vibe to inspire our graffiti designs! 🇫🇮

Pricing

Street art talent shouldn't be out of reach! We offer competitive pricing to ensure as many young people in Espoo as possible can experience the joy of graffiti.

Estimated costs: Prices typically range from €30 to €65 per person. This variation depends on the total number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and whether we are providing mobile wall panels or using an existing legal wall.

Since every youth project is unique, we love to create custom packages that fit your specific budget and goals. ✨
