Do the participants need any prior art experience?

No experience is needed at all! Our professional artists specialize in working with youth groups of all skill levels. We start with the absolute basics, from how to hold a spray can to mastering simple lines and shapes. The focus of our Turin youth projects is on creativity and expression rather than technical perfection, ensuring everyone leaves feeling like a proud artist.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for young people?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our spray paints are low-odour and comply with all safety regulations. Additionally, our instructors are experienced in managing groups and ensure that the workshop environment remains controlled, respectful, and safe for every young person involved.

How long does a typical youth graffiti session last?

Our youth projects in Turin typically last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a thorough introduction, design sketching, and plenty of hands-on painting time. We can also adapt the duration to fit into a larger community day or school schedule if you have specific timing requirements for your event.

Where in Turin do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops at various outdoor legal spray zones across Turin, or we can come to your youth centre, school, or community space. If we paint at your location, we use large mobile canvases or plastic-wrapped surfaces to ensure the site remains clean and only the art stays behind. We'll handle all the logistics!

Can this workshop help with team building for youth groups?

Absolutely. Graffiti is a powerful tool for teamwork. In many of our youth projects, we encourage the group to work on a 'Masterpiece'—one large collaborative wall where everyone contributes to a single design. This requires communication, planning, and mutual respect, making it an ideal activity for building stronger bonds within a youth organisation or local community.

How does the payment process work?

We keep it simple and stress-free. You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book your Turin youth project. This allows you to finalize your numbers and logistics without financial pressure. Payment is only handled after the workshop is completed and everyone is 100% satisfied with the experience. It’s all about trust and ensuring you have a great time!

What should participants bring to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide full protective gear like overalls and gloves, spray paint can be unpredictable! Other than that, just bring your energy and creativity. We provide all the professional spray cans, caps, boards, and safety equipment you'll need for the day.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth project in Turin? It’s not just about spraying paint; it’s about breaking down barriers and building something together. ✨

Boosts Confidence: Seeing a giant mural come to life gives young people a massive sense of achievement. 🏆
Self-Expression: It provides a safe, legal outlet for teens to express their feelings and unique style.
Collaboration: Working on a shared piece of art fosters communication and teamwork in a natural, unforced way. 🤝
Community Pride: Participants feel a deeper connection to Turin’s urban landscape and art scene.
Skill Building: From planning to execution, they learn real-world creative and coordination skills.
Zero Pressure: There are no "mistakes" in graffiti—only "happy accidents" that lead to new ideas! 🚀

Step by step

Initial briefing: We start with an energetic introduction to graffiti history and the importance of legal street art in Turin's culture.
Safety first: Every participant gets kitted out with professional masks, gloves, and protective suits to stay clean and safe.
The tag creator: We practice lettering basics, helping everyone develop their own unique 'tag' or artist signature.
Sketching the vision: Using paper and markers, the youth group brainstorms a theme and sketches their ideas before hitting the wall.
Can control: Our pros teach the secret techniques—fading, outlines, and highlights—to get the best results from the spray cans.
Filling the piece: The fun begins as we apply the first layers of vibrant colour to the large-scale canvas or wall.
Refining details: Adding the final outlines and 'special effects' to make the artwork really pop and look professional.
Group photo & review: We celebrate the hard work with a photoshoot in front of the finished mural—a great memory for everyone.
Clean up: We ensure the area is tidy and dispose of all materials responsibly, leaving only the beautiful art behind.

Local culture

Turin isn't just about elegant palazzos and automotive history; it's a city with a beating heart of urban expression. From the colorful walls of the Barriera di Milano district to the artistic interventions in Parco Dora, Torino has embraced street art as a tool for urban regeneration. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, encouraging young people to see their city as a canvas for positive change.

Fun Fact: Turin is home to "B.ART - Arte in Barriera," a massive project that covered 13 buildings with incredible murals, proving that the city is a true open-air museum for street art lovers! 🏗️

By participating in our projects, Turin's youth connect with this modern heritage, learning that creativity can transform even the most industrial corners of their neighborhood into something beautiful.
