Why choose us in Szeged?

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your after-school programme in Szeged? Because it’s more than just an art lesson—it’s an experience they’ll never forget. Here’s why it works:

Boosts Creativity: There are no mistakes in graffiti, only "happy accidents" that lead to new styles! 🚀
Team Building: Working on a large-scale mural teaches students how to collaborate and communicate effectively.
Confidence Builder: Seeing a giant, colourful piece of art and saying "I made that" does wonders for a student's self-esteem. 💪
Safe & Legal: we teach the difference between vandalism and street art, focusing on legal expression and technique.
Stress Relief: Spraying paint is a physical and cathartic way for students to unwind after a long day of academic study. 🌬️
Professional Mentorship: Students get to work directly with real-world artists who share their passion and journey.

How it works

Introduction & Safety: We start with a high-energy intro to the world of graffiti and a vital safety briefing on how to use the equipment properly.
The Tagging Basics: Students learn the 'tag'—the foundation of graffiti—practising their own unique signature and letter styles on paper.
Can Control: Our artists demonstrate how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create different line widths and effects.
Sketching the Concept: The group works together or individually to sketch out their main design, choosing vibrant colours and bold outlines.
First Layers: It's time to spray! Participants apply the base colours and 'fill-ins' to their canvases or the designated wall.
Adding Character: We teach how to add highlights, lowlights, and shadows to make the 3D effects really pop.
The Power of the Outline: Students learn the 'cut-back' technique and how to use a sharp outline to bring the whole piece together.
Final Details: We add the finishing touches—think sparkles, drips, or second outlines—to give the work that professional street art finish.
Group Gallery: We finish with a photo session where everyone shows off their work and celebrates their new creative skills!

Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical after-school graffiti session last?

Our typical graffiti after-school sessions in Szeged last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance for students to learn the fundamentals of spray painting, practice their techniques, and complete a final masterpiece without it feeling rushed or overly long. If you have a specific schedule to stick to, we can easily adapt the timing of the workshop to fit your school's afternoon timetable perfectly.

Is it safe for students to use spray paint?

Absolutely! We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and specialised masks for every participant. Our professional artists also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use low-pressure cans that are easier for younger hands to control, and we always work in well-ventilated outdoor areas throughout Szeged to ensure a healthy and fun environment for everyone involved.

Do students need to have prior art skills?

No previous artistic experience is needed at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from total beginners to budding young artists. Our instructors are experts at breaking down complex street art techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on the joy of creation and self-expression rather than perfection. Everyone leaves with a piece of art they can be proud of, regardless of their starting point.

What should students wear to the workshop?

We recommend that students wear comfortable, older clothes and closed-toe shoes. While we provide full protective suits and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be a bit messy, and it’s better to be safe than sorry with your favourite designer trainers! Once the gear is on, they are ready to dive into the world of colour and creativity without worrying about their school uniforms getting stained.

Where in Szeged do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop directly on your school grounds in Szeged if you have a suitable outdoor space. Alternatively, we have several vibrant legal graffiti spots and creative partner locations around the city that provide an authentic street art atmosphere. Just let us know what works best for your group, and we will handle all the logistical arrangements to make it happen.

What is the ideal age for participants?

Our after-school workshops are generally best suited for students aged 10 and up. This age group has the physical coordination to handle the spray cans and the creative focus to follow the design process. However, we can adapt our teaching methods for slightly younger groups if requested. It’s a fantastic way for teenagers to channel their energy into something constructive, legal, and visually stunning.

When do we need to pay for the workshop?

We believe in a hassle-free experience. You don't need to pay anything upfront when you book your Szeged workshop. We trust our clients and focus on delivering a top-tier experience first. Payment is only handled after the workshop is completed and everyone is happy with the results. This ensures you can book with total confidence, knowing that your satisfaction and the students' enjoyment are our primary goals.
