Why choose us in Hyderabad?

Why choose a Graffitifun workshop for your Hyderabad secondary school? Because we make art accessible and exciting for every student, regardless of their skill level. Here is why it works: 🔥

  • 💪 Boosts Confidence: Seeing a large-scale piece come to life gives students a massive sense of achievement.
  • 🤝 Real Teamwork: You can't paint a giant mural alone—students learn to communicate and collaborate.
  • 🏆 Zero Stress for Teachers: We bring all the materials and handle the cleanup. You just sit back and watch the magic happen.
  • 🎨 Professional Mentors: Our artists are active in the street art scene and provide real-world creative insights.
  • 🚫 No Risk: Benefit from our "Pay After" policy and backup artist guarantee.

How it works

  1. Intro & Street Art History: We start with a high-energy intro about the roots of graffiti culture and how it evolved into modern street art.
  2. Safety First: Everyone gets geared up! We distribute protective suits, gloves, and high-quality masks while explaining the spray can 'do's and don'ts'.
  3. Mastering the Can: Students learn the basics—how to hold the can, control pressure, and create different line widths like a pro.
  4. First Tags: Every student gets to practice their name or a 'tag' on our practice walls, getting a feel for the flow of the paint.
  5. Technique Training: Our artists demonstrate professional tricks like 'fades', '3D shadows', and 'highlights' to make the art pop.
  6. The Big Project: The group works together on a giant collaborative mural or starts their individual canvases based on a pre-decided theme.
  7. Final Touches: We help the students refine their work, adding those crisp outlines and details that make the piece look gallery-ready.
  8. The Big Reveal & Photos: We wrap up with a group photo session in front of the masterpieces—perfect for the school’s social media or yearbook!

Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for secondary school students?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep students safe and their uniforms clean. We use low-odour professional spray paint and conduct sessions in well-ventilated outdoor areas. Our artists are experienced in managing large groups of teenagers and ensure everyone follows safety guidelines while having a blast. It’s a controlled, professional environment designed for maximum fun and zero stress for teachers.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

A standard workshop for secondary schools in Hyderabad usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for an introduction to street art history, practicing basic lines and fading techniques, and finally creating a collaborative masterpiece on a large plastic wall or individual canvases. We can also adjust the timing to fit your school’s periods or specific event schedule. We make sure every minute is packed with creativity and hands-on action!

Where does the workshop take place?

We are totally mobile! We bring the street art studio to your school premises. All we need is an outdoor space like a playground, a sports court, or a parking area with good ventilation. We use professional-grade mobile walls (foil-wrapped structures) so we don't leave any permanent marks on your school property. If you’d prefer an off-site location, we can also help arrange a professional studio space in Hyderabad for your class.

Do the students need any prior art experience or skills?

Not at all. This workshop is designed for everyone, from the next M.F. Husain to those who can barely draw a stick figure. Our professional artists guide the students through every step, starting with simple techniques. We focus on 'freestyle' expression where there are no mistakes, only 'happy accidents.' By the end of the session, even the most hesitant students are usually surprised by the high-quality art they’ve helped create.

What is included in the price of the workshop?

The cost usually includes everything: professional artist guidance, all spray paint cans in various colours, protective gear (suits, gloves, masks), and the 'canvas' (whether it's a mobile wall or individual boards). We also handle the setup and the cleanup! The price per student varies based on the group size and the specific materials chosen—for example, if students get to take home their own canvas. What happens if it rains or an artist is sick?

Hyderabad weather can be tricky, but we’ve got you covered. If it rains, we can move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or a very well-ventilated indoor space like a high-ceilinged gym. If that's not possible, we have a flexible rescheduling policy. Plus, we always have backup artists available, so even if there’s a last-minute emergency on our end, your school event will always go ahead as planned. We never let the creativity stop!

Why is graffiti a good activity for teenagers specifically?

Graffiti is a fantastic tool for secondary students to build confidence and teamwork. It’s a non-traditional way to explore art history, colour theory, and social messaging. Beyond the art, it encourages students to step out of their comfort zones and collaborate on a large-scale project. In a city like Hyderabad, where heritage meets high-tech, giving students a modern creative outlet helps them connect with contemporary culture while developing useful motor skills and spatial awareness.
