Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior graffiti experience to join the training?

Absolutely! While the training focuses on pedagogy and professional development, we cover the fundamental techniques of spray painting from scratch. You'll learn how to handle the cans, control pressure, and create clean lines before we move on to teaching others. It’s a supportive environment where your artistic growth is just as important as your teaching ability. You'll leave feeling confident enough to lead your own classroom sessions.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for the session. This includes premium low-pressure spray cans (which are easier for beginners to control), respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. We also provide canvases or boards for your practice pieces. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty while you work!

How long does the training session last?

The teacher training program typically lasts between 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on the depth of the curriculum you choose. We break this down into a mix of practical spray painting, theoretical discussion on street art history, and a workshop on classroom safety and management. If you have specific learning goals, we can adjust the duration to ensure all your questions are answered.

How do you handle safety and health regulations?

Safety is our number one priority, especially in an educational context. We teach you how to set up a safe outdoor or well-ventilated workspace, how to manage group dynamics when using spray paint, and the correct way to handle materials. You'll also learn how to explain these safety protocols to your students in a way that stick, ensuring your future workshops are fun and hazard-free.

Can you host the training at my school or facility?

Yes! While we are based in Turin, we are happy to travel to your school or community centre if you have a suitable outdoor space or a very well-ventilated hall. However, many teachers prefer coming to our curated local spots in Turin to get the full, authentic street art experience. Just let us know your preference when you request a quote, and we'll make it work for you.

What are your payment and cancellation policies?

Total peace of mind! We don't require any upfront payment when you book. You can pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We also have a dedicated team of backup artists in the Turin area, so even if an instructor falls ill, your training will go ahead as planned. We’re all about reliability and creative fun!
