Why choose us in Arequipa?
Why choose a Graffitifun workshop for your Arequipa student group? Because a lecture about art is one thing, but actually feeling the vibration of a spray can is another entirely! Here is why it works:
- Perfect Stress-Buster: Give your students a much-needed break from exams with a tactile, sensory experience. 🧠🔥
- Instagrammable Moments: Students love sharing their progress, giving your university great social media exposure.
- Collaborative Spirit: Nothing builds a sense of community like working together on a 10-metre long mural.
- Inclusive Activity: You don't need to be an 'art student' to succeed; graffiti is for everyone, regardless of skill level. 🎤
- Professional Backup: With our backup artist guarantee, your event will never be cancelled last minute.
- Safe & Clean: We handle all the 'mess', ensuring your beautiful Arequipa campus stays clean while the art stays on the panels.
How it works
- Initial kickoff: We meet the students at your Arequipa campus or chosen local spot and introduce our professional street artists.
- Creative brainstorming: Our team explains the history of graffiti and helps students sketch out their initial ideas and tags on paper.
- Safety first: Everyone gets kitted out in protective suits, gloves, and masks while we demonstrate safe spray can handling.
- Technique demo: Our artists show off the 'tricks of the trade', including how to make fades, sharp outlines, and 3D effects.
- Practice run: Students get a feel for the pressure of the cans by practicing basic shapes on a trial surface.
- The big build: We move on to the main event—painting the large-scale mural or individual canvases based on the chosen theme.
- Final flourishes: Our pros help the students add those sharp highlights and details that make the artwork really 'pop'.
- Group photo & cleanup: We snap photos of the team with their creation before we handle all the cleanup, leaving your campus spotless.

Our university workshops are designed to be as flexible as possible to fit your academic schedule. Here is what you can expect:

Frequently asked questions
How long does a university graffiti workshop in Arequipa last?
Standard university graffiti sessions usually run for about 2 to 2.5 hours. This gives your students enough time to learn the basic safety rules, practice their can control on a 'test' surface, and then collaborate on a large-scale masterpiece or individual canvases. We can also adjust the timing to fit into a specific lecture block or student union event schedule if needed.
Is it safe for students to use spray paint?
Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective suits for every student. Our expert instructors also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. Since Arequipa enjoys great weather, we usually work in well-ventilated outdoor areas, making the experience both safe and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Where on campus can we host the workshop?
We are very flexible! We can set up temporary plastic walls or large wooden panels in a campus courtyard, car park, or sports field. If your Arequipa campus doesn't have a suitable outdoor spot, we can suggest nearby creative spaces. We make sure to protect the surrounding area with drop cloths, so the only things getting painted are the intended surfaces!
Do students need to bring their own supplies?
You don't need to bring a thing! Graffitifun provides everything: premium spray paint in a huge range of colours, caps (nozzles), protective gear, and the painting surfaces. We even bring the inspiration! Students just need to show up in comfortable clothes they don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on—though our protective suits usually keep everyone spotless.
Do students need prior artistic experience?
None at all! Our professional artists specialize in teaching beginners. We start with the absolute basics, like how to hold the can and create a clean line. By the end of the session, students who have never picked up a spray can before are usually amazed by the professional-looking mural they've helped create. It's all about the process and having fun together.
Can we choose a specific theme for the mural?
Yes, we can! We love it when universities have a specific theme, such as 'Sustainability', 'Student Mental Health', or 'University Pride'. We can pre-sketch a design that incorporates your university logo or specific motifs, allowing the students to focus on the technique and filling in the piece. It’s a brilliant way to create a lasting memory for a specific faculty or club.
How does the payment process work for university groups?
We know student budgets and university admin can be tricky, so we've made it easy. We don't require any payment upfront. You can book your date to secure our artists, and the payment is only handled after the workshop has been successfully completed. We accept various payment methods to suit your university's procurement or student union accounting systems.
