Why choose us in Cluj-Napoca?

Standard student socials are fine, but why settle for fine when you can be legendary? A graffiti workshop is the ultimate way to break the ice and build something massive together. Here is why Cluj students love our sessions:

  • Stress relief: Nothing beats the therapeutic hiss of a spray can after a week of tough exams at UBB or UTCN. 🧘‍♂️
  • Total inclusivity: You don't need to be an 'artist'—our pros make sure everyone creates something they're proud of. 🔥
  • Zero risk booking: No upfront payment is required, and we have backup artists ready to go, so your event never gets cancelled. 🎤
  • Social media gold: Create the most Instagrammable moments of the semester with huge, colourful murals. 📸
  • Professional vibes: We bring high-end gear and years of experience to ensure your event looks and feels premium. 🏆

How it works

  1. Introduction & safety: Meet your pro graffiti artist and get kitted out in protective gear while learning the do's and don'ts of spray art.
  2. History & culture: A quick, high-energy dive into the roots of street art and how it became a global phenomenon.
  3. The gear: Learn about different caps (nozzles) and how they change your lines from thin 'skinny' details to 'fat' fills.
  4. Can control: Head to the wall for your first practice strokes, learning how to manage pressure and distance.
  5. Sketching the mural: Work together to outline a massive collective design—often featuring your university or society name!
  6. Filling & fading: Dive into the colours! Learn the art of gradients, blends, and solid fills to make the art pop.
  7. Outline & details: Add the sharp outlines and 'highlights' that give graffiti its signature 3D look.
  8. The finishing touch: Step back as a group to add final details, splashes, and 'tags' to the masterpiece.
  9. Photo op: Strike a pose with your final mural for the ultimate social media memories of your time in Cluj.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to bring our own protective gear?

While we recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty, we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves for every student. Our professional-grade spray paint usually stays on the wall, but it is better to be safe than sorry! We suggest comfortable footwear as you will be on your feet creating your masterpiece for a few hours. 🎨

Is previous art experience required to participate?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a stick figure to fine arts students. Our professional artists lead you through the basics of can control, cap selection, and layering. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the professional-looking mural the group has created together. It's all about the experience and having fun! 🚀

Can the workshop take place on our university campus?

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on being 100% mobile. We can set up temporary graffiti walls at your university campus, student union garden, or even in a local park in Cluj-Napoca. If you don't have a space, we have partner locations that provide the perfect urban backdrop for your session. We bring all the materials; you just bring the energy! ✨

How do you ensure the safety of the students?

Safety is our top priority. We provide FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure no one is inhaling fumes, and we only use high-quality, low-pressure spray paint which is easier to control. Our artists provide a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We ensure the environment is well-ventilated and that everyone follows the 'spray-safe' rules throughout the entire workshop. 🛡️

How long does a typical university session last?

Standard university workshops usually last between 2 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the completion of a large-scale collective mural. If you have a specific schedule or a shorter 'taster' session in mind for a student fair, we can certainly adapt the timing to fit your needs. ⏱️

Do we have to pay in advance for the booking?

We understand that student budgets and university planning can be tricky. That is why we offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy. You don't need to worry about upfront bank transfers or deposits to secure your date. Once the spray paint has dried and everyone is happy with the result, we'll handle the invoice. It's a stress-free way to book! 💸

Can students take their artwork home after the session?

Yes! While we focus on a large collective wall for the 'wow' factor, we can also incorporate individual canvases or tote bags that students can take home. It's a fantastic way for everyone to have a permanent souvenir of their Cluj-Napoca street art experience. Just let us know in advance so we can prepare the extra materials for your specific group. 🏆
