Do we need any previous art experience to join the workshop?

Absolutely! Our Ploiesti workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Most university students have never touched a spray can before, and that is where the magic happens. Our professional artists guide you through every step, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created with your team. We focus on having fun and learning something new together.

What should we wear for the graffiti session?

We recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy. While we provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and masks, a stray drop of paint can occasionally find its way onto shoes or sleeves. Think 'casual and comfortable'—save your best trainers for the after-party! We supply everything else you need, including masks to ensure you are breathing clean air while you spray.

How long does the workshop usually take?

A typical university workshop in Ploiesti lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for student groups—it allows enough time for a solid introduction, sketching your ideas, and completing a full-scale mural without feeling rushed or exhausted. If you have a specific schedule or are fitting us into a larger campus event, we can easily adapt the duration to suit your needs.

Where in Ploiesti do the workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible! For student groups, we can host the workshop at a dedicated outdoor mural space in Ploiesti, or we can bring the equipment directly to your university campus. We use mobile plastic walls or high-quality canvases that can be set up almost anywhere. If the weather doesn't play ball, we have indoor solutions using low-odour paints and specific ventilation setups to keep things safe and legal.

Is there an upfront payment required?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'play now, pay later' policy. You don't need to worry about upfront payments or deposits when booking. We want the booking process to be as stress-free as the workshop itself. Once the session is complete and your group is buzzing with creative energy, you can settle the payment. This makes it much easier for student unions and societies to manage their budgets.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We provide professional-grade FFP2 or FFP3 masks to every participant, along with nitrile gloves and protective suits. Our artists are highly trained in site management and ensure that the spraying area is well-ventilated and safe for everyone involved. We use high-quality European spray paint brands that meet all modern safety standards, ensuring you can focus entirely on the creative vibe.

How many students can participate at once?

We can cater to groups of almost any size! Whether it's a small committee of 10 people or a massive freshman orientation event for 100+ students, we have the artist roster and equipment to scale up. For very large groups, we often work on a rotating basis or create one massive collaborative mural where everyone contributes a section. Just let us know your estimated numbers, and we will handle the logistics.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Ploiesti might be famous for its industrial heritage and its role as the heart of Romania's oil industry, but the city has a vibrant, hidden creative side that is waiting to be explored. From the energetic student life around the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti (UPG) to the local hangouts in the city centre, there is a grit and character to the 'Republic of Ploiesti' that perfectly matches the spirit of graffiti. 🇷🇴

Street art in Ploiesti is about more than just paint; it is about local pride. While you are here, keep an eye out for the murals that pop up near the busy transit hubs and the artistic flair found in the city's residential districts. Our workshops tap into this local energy, giving students a voice and a platform to express what their city means to them.

Fun Fact: Did you know Ploiesti was briefly declared an independent republic in 1870? That rebellious, independent spirit is exactly what we bring to our workshops—freedom of expression is in the city's DNA! 🏛️🔥

Pricing
