Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Most university students in Brasov have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, from safety and nozzle control to simple linework. We provide a supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace, ensuring that even the least 'artistic' person in your group walks away with something they are proud of and a new set of skills.

What equipment is provided in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for a successful workshop in Brasov. This includes premium spray paint in a variety of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and high-quality respiratory masks. We also bring various 'caps' (nozzles) so you can experiment with different spray widths. All you need to bring is your energy, some old shoes you don't mind getting a bit of dust on, and your creative ideas.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for students?

Safety is our number one priority. We use high-quality masks and protective gear to ensure everyone is safe from fumes and paint. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before any cans are shaken. While the paint we use is professional grade, we conduct our university workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially prepared indoor spaces throughout Brasov to ensure a healthy environment for all participants.

How long does a typical session last?

Standard university workshops usually last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a solid introduction, some practice drills, and the creation of a final masterpiece. If you are planning a larger campus event or a multi-day student festival in Brasov, we can adapt the timing and format to fit your schedule, including drop-in sessions or shorter 'taster' slots.

What is the maximum group size for a university event?

We are extremely flexible! For smaller student societies or project teams, we can work with groups of 10-15. For large-scale university orientations or faculty-wide events, we can accommodate hundreds of students by rotating groups or creating a massive collaborative mural. Just let us know your estimated numbers and we will provide enough artists and paint to keep everyone engaged and creative.

How does the payment process work?

We understand that university budgets and event planning can be complex. That is why we offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy. You don't need to worry about upfront bank transfers or deposits to secure your date in Brasov. Once the session is complete and you are 100% happy with the result, we handle the invoice. It makes the administrative side much easier for student unions and faculty offices.

Can we create a mural based on our university or society logo?

Definitely! We love incorporating university themes. Whether you want to spray-paint your department's logo, create a mural based on a specific academic subject, or use your university colours, our artists will help you design a piece that represents your student identity. It is a fantastic way to create a lasting piece of art for a common room or a campus wall (with permission, of course!).

The experience

Choosing a graffiti workshop for your university group isn't just about painting walls; it's about building connections and sparking creativity in a way that lectures never can. Here is why our sessions in Brasov are a top choice for students:

Ultimate stress relief: Nothing beats the pressure of exams like the tactile, rhythmic flow of spray painting in the fresh Brasov air.
Collaborative spirit: Our large-scale murals require communication and teamwork, making it the perfect icebreaker for new students or societies.
Professional guidance: You are not just left with a can; our expert artists teach you real skills that you can use for future design projects.
Zero risk booking: With our "pay after the event" policy and backup artist guarantee, your university event is in safe hands.
Social media gold: Let's be honest, your student society's Instagram will look incredible with photos of a professional-grade graffiti mural in progress.
Inclusive for all: You don't need to be an "artist" to enjoy this. We break down the techniques so everyone can contribute something great.

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us with your university event ideas. We will discuss group size, your preferred location in Brasov, and any specific themes you want to explore.
Site selection & planning: We identify the perfect spot, whether it is on campus or at one of our legal street art locations. We handle the logistics so you don't have to.
Safety briefing: Every workshop starts with a quick guide on how to use the equipment safely and how to protect your clothes and the environment.
Technique demonstration: Our pro artists show you the secrets of the trade—fading, outlines, and how to handle different pressure cans.
Sketching your vision: Before hitting the wall, you will sketch out your ideas on paper, refining the design with help from our mentors.
Practice session: Grab a can and get a feel for the spray. You will practice basic shapes and lines to build your confidence.
The main creation: This is where the magic happens! You and your fellow students will work on the final mural or individual pieces.
Final touches & photos: We help you add those sharp details that make the art pop. Then, we capture high-quality photos of your group and your work.
Review & cleanup: We wrap up the session, ensure the area is tidy, and make sure everyone is stoked with what they have created.

Local culture

Brasov is a city where medieval history meets a thriving modern student life. From the Transilvania University campus to the narrow streets surrounding the Black Church, there is a pulse of creativity that defines the local atmosphere. While the city is famous for its Gothic architecture, the underground street art scene in Brasov is growing, providing a colourful contrast to the stone walls of the old town. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, often taking inspiration from the surrounding Carpathian landscapes or the legendary stories of the region. We love working near the bustling student hubs where the energy is high and the "Brasov vibe" is at its strongest. By bringing graffiti into the university sphere, we are helping the next generation of locals and international students leave their own creative mark on this iconic Romanian city.

Pricing

Our university workshop pricing is designed to be affordable for student budgets while maintaining professional quality. Prices typical range from:

lei100 – lei220 per person

Please note that the final cost depends on the number of participants, the amount of materials required, and the specific setup (e.g., individual canvases vs. a large collaborative wall). We pride ourselves on transparency—there are no hidden fees.
