Is this activity safe for primary school children?

The workshop is specifically designed for primary school children. Our instructors use simplified techniques and constant supervision to ensure every child can participate safely. We focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection, helping kids develop fine motor skills and confidence while having an absolute blast with their classmates in Ploiesti.

What kind of spray paint do you use?

We use premium water-based or low-pressure spray cans that are much easier for smaller hands to control. We also provide full protective gear, including gloves and masks, to keep everyone clean and safe. Safety is our number one priority, and our professional artists are experts at managing groups of enthusiastic young creators.

Where do the kids actually paint?

The children won't be painting on city walls! We provide large canvases, wooden boards, or plastic wrapping (cellograff) for the kids to paint on. This makes the workshop portable, meaning we can set up at your school grounds or a local park in Ploiesti without leaving any permanent marks on public property.

How long does a typical school session last?

Standard workshops for primary schools usually last between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This is the 'sweet spot' for keeping younger children engaged and excited without them getting too tired. We can adjust the timing to fit into your school's specific lesson blocks or after-school schedule.

Can we keep the artwork after the workshop?

Absolutely! One of the coolest parts is that the children (or the school) get to keep the final artwork. Whether it's a massive collaborative mural for the hallway or individual canvases to take home to parents, these vibrant pieces serve as a lasting memory of their artistic journey.

Do the students need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshop starts with the basics of 'tagging' and simple shapes. Many of the kids we work with have never held a spray can before. Our artists are trained to guide them step-by-step, ensuring every child feels like a pro by the time the session ends.

What should the children wear for the workshop?

We recommend that kids wear 'play clothes' that you don't mind getting a little messy. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti is an active and splashy art form! Comfortable shoes are also a must as the children will be on their feet and moving around while they create.

Local culture

Ploiesti might be known as the capital of "black gold" due to its rich oil history, but we’re here to add a rainbow to that skyline! While the city boasts incredible landmarks like the Clock Museum, there is a growing appetite for modern, urban expression among the younger generation. Street art in Ploiesti is evolving, and by bringing a workshop to your primary school, you’re connecting students with a global art movement that celebrates individuality.

Fun Fact: Did you know Ploiesti was one of the first cities in the world to have a dedicated oil refinery? Just like the city's history of innovation, our workshops encourage kids to find new, creative ways to express themselves!
