Is the spray paint safe for people with sensitivities?

Safety is our top priority! We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits for everyone. Our spray paints are low-odour and we always choose well-ventilated or outdoor spaces in Ploiesti. Our instructors are trained to monitor the group closely and ensure that the equipment is used correctly and safely throughout the entire session.

Can the workshop be adapted for people with physical disabilities?

Absolutely! We believe art should be accessible to everyone. Our Ploiesti workshops can be adapted for wheelchair users, individuals with limited mobility, or those with sensory processing sensitivities. We can use tables, adjustable easels, or lower wall sections to ensure everyone can reach the canvas comfortably and enjoy the creative process without barriers.

How do you support participants with neurodivergent needs?

Preparation is key. We offer visual schedules, 'what to expect' guides, and clear, step-by-step instructions. Our artists are patient and use positive reinforcement. We can also arrange for a 'quiet zone' nearby if someone needs a break from the activity. The goal is a stress-free environment where everyone feels successful and supported.

What do we need to bring to the Ploiesti session?

You don't need to bring a thing! Graffitifun provides all the professional spray cans, safety gear, caps, and canvases. We even bring the inspiration! We recommend that participants wear old clothes and comfortable shoes just in case, even though we provide protective suits. We handle all the setup and the messy clean-up afterwards.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Our standard special needs sessions in Ploiesti typically last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This timing is usually the 'sweet spot' for maintaining engagement without causing fatigue. However, we are completely flexible; if your group prefers a shorter, high-energy burst or a longer, more relaxed pace, we can customise the itinerary to suit you.

Is there a minimum or maximum group size?

We work with groups of all sizes! For special needs programmes, we recommend a higher artist-to-participant ratio to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve. For very large groups, we can bring along extra backup artists to keep the experience personal and safe. Just let us know your numbers when you request a quote.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti experience for your group in Ploiesti? Because street art is the ultimate equaliser! It is loud, it is bold, and it is incredibly rewarding. Here is why our sessions are a hit:

Sensory Engagement: The hiss of the can and the vibrant flow of colour provide a wonderful multi-sensory experience. 🔥
Patience & Care: Our artists are not just talented painters; they are experienced facilitators who know how to connect with diverse groups.
Total Inclusivity: We adjust heights, techniques, and tools so that everyone—regardless of physical or cognitive ability—can participate fully.
Confidence Building: Seeing a giant, colourful mural and knowing "I did that!" provides a massive boost to self-esteem. 🎤
Stress-Free Planning: No upfront payment, backup artists on call, and we provide all the gear. We make it easy for organisers!
Customised Pace: We don't rush. We follow the rhythm of the group to ensure everyone stays happy and engaged. 🎉

Step by step

Initial consultation: We chat about your group's specific needs, interests, and any sensory or mobility requirements to tailor the Ploiesti session.
Design phase: Our artists prepare accessible sketches or themes based on your preferences, ensuring the project is exciting but achievable.
Safety briefing: On the day, we start with a friendly demo on how to use the gear safely, focusing on comfort and confidence.
Practice session: Everyone gets a chance to test the spray cans on a practice surface to get a feel for the pressure and flow.
Main creation: Participants begin filling in the large-scale mural or individual canvases, guided step-by-step by our patient pros.
Adding details: We help participants add those final 'pops' of colour and sharp outlines that make the artwork truly stand out.
The big reveal: We take a moment to celebrate the group's hard work and take plenty of photos of the vibrant new masterpiece.
Easy wrap-up: We handle all the cleaning and packing, leaving you with nothing but great memories and amazing art.

Local culture

Ploiesti might be known as the 'Capital of Black Gold', but we are here to add a whole lot of rainbow to that reputation! While the city has a deep industrial history, the local creative scene is blossoming, with pockets of street art beginning to peek through the urban landscape near the city centre and the South Station area. Our workshops celebrate this evolving spirit, offering a safe space for people who might usually feel sidelined to take centre stage in the local culture.

Fun Ploiesti Fact: Did you know Ploiesti was the world's first city to have an oil refinery? We like to think we are refining a different kind of energy here—pure creative talent! 🏆

We love bringing our mobile setups to local parks or community halls, ensuring that the spirit of Ploiesti is woven into every mural we create together. It is about community, connection, and a lot of colourful paint! ✨
