Is the workshop environment safe for participants with sensory sensitivities?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to all participants. Our professional artists are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly. We also select specific low-pressure spray cans that are easier to handle for those with limited grip strength or motor sensitivities, making the environment both safe and welcoming.

How do you adapt the workshop for different types of special needs?

We pride ourselves on being fully flexible. Whether participants have physical disabilities, developmental challenges, or sensory processing needs, our artists adapt their teaching style accordingly. We can set up the workspace at different heights for wheelchair users, provide visual aids for those with hearing impairments, or offer quieter zones for those who may become overwhelmed by noise. Every session is unique to the group's specific requirements.

What are the costs involved for a special needs graffiti workshop?

In Craiova, our pricing typically ranges from 100 lei to 220 lei per person. The final cost depends on factors like the number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and whether we are coming to your location or using one of our partner spaces. We believe in transparency, so there are no hidden fees, and you only pay after the workshop is complete.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Our standard sessions usually last between 1.5 and 2 hours. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining engagement and energy without causing fatigue. However, we can easily shorten or lengthen the session based on the attention span and energy levels of your specific group. We move at your pace, ensuring no one feels rushed or pressured during their creative journey.

Do participants need to have any prior art skills?

No artistic experience is needed at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our Craiova-based artists guide you through every step, from holding the can to creating basic shapes and 'fills'. The focus of our special needs program is on the joy of movement, the tactile experience of the paint, and the pride of creating something colourful, rather than technical perfection.

What is the ideal group size for these workshops?

We recommend a group size of 5 to 20 people to ensure everyone gets enough individual attention from our artists. However, if you have a larger group, we simply bring in additional backup artists to maintain a high level of support. Our goal is to ensure every participant feels heard, seen, and assisted throughout the entire creative process.

Local culture

Craiova is a city that breathes culture, from the stunning architecture of the Art Museum to the lush greenery of Romanescu Park. In recent years, the street art scene in Craiova has begun to bloom, adding a modern, edgy contrast to our historic "Banie" heritage. We love bringing our workshops to this city because the local community truly appreciates the power of visual storytelling. Whether we're inspired by the legendary local football spirit or the peaceful vibes of the Jiu river, Craiova provides a fantastic backdrop for creative expression.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Craiova is home to the Nicolae Romanescu Park, one of the largest and most beautiful natural parks in Central and Eastern Europe? It’s the perfect place to get inspired by nature before picking up a spray can! 🌳🎨
