Is the graffiti workshop safe for secondary school students?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our number one priority. We provide all secondary school students with professional-grade protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our spray paints are low-odour and compliant with safety standards. Furthermore, our expert instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a controlled, respectful, and secure environment for every student to explore their creativity in Craiova.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard workshop for secondary schools typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of street art, practice basic techniques on plastic film or boards, and then move on to the grand finale—a large-scale collaborative mural or individual canvases. We can also adapt the duration to fit perfectly within your school's specific timetable or double-period slots.

Do students need any prior drawing or painting skills?

No artistic experience is needed at all! Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and accessible for everyone. Our professional artists are masters at breaking down complex mural techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Whether a student thinks they are the next Picasso or can't even draw a straight line, they will walk away with something they are genuinely proud of. It's all about the process!

Where in Craiova do the workshops take place?

We can host the workshop right on your school grounds in Craiova! As long as there is an outdoor space with a wall or fence where we can set up our mobile canvases (cellograff), we are good to go. If outdoor space is an issue, please contact us; we have creative indoor solutions and partnerships with local venues that allow us to bring the graffiti experience to life regardless of the weather.

What materials are included in the package?

We provide everything! Your booking includes all premium spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective masks, gloves, aprons, and the surfaces we paint on (like large professional-grade plastic film or canvases). We even bring the inspiration and background music to get the vibes right. Students just need to show up in some 'paint-friendly' clothes and bring their enthusiasm—we handle all the messy logistics and clean-up.

Is there an upfront payment required for school bookings?

Yes, we believe in complete peace of mind for schools and teachers. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date. We work on a trust-based system where you only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any funds are transferred. It’s part of our commitment to being the most reliable street art provider in Romania.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your students? It’s more than just painting—it’s about confidence, collaboration, and cool factor! 🔥

Ultimate self-expression: Graffiti gives students a voice and a way to express their identity in a bold, colourful way.
Teamwork in action: Creating a large mural requires communication and collaboration—the perfect "soft skills" lesson.
Professional vibes: We bring real artists, not just teachers. Students love the authenticity and street cred of our team.
Safe & clean: We take care of all the protection and prep, ensuring the only thing left behind is great art, not a mess.
Zero risk: With our "no cure, no pay" philosophy and backup artists, your school event is in safe hands.
Curriculum friendly: Our sessions can be linked to Art, Design, History, or even Social Studies.

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: We start with a high-energy kick-off, sharing the history of graffiti and showing off some amazing local street art examples.
Safety first: Every student gets kitted out in professional masks, gloves, and protective gear while we explain the "rules of the can."
First lines: Under the guidance of our pros, students learn basic techniques like "outlining," "filling," and creating those classic "fades."
Sketching ideas: We brainstorm a theme—maybe it's the school's values, a local Craiova landmark, or a message of unity—and sketch it out.
The big wall: Working together, the group begins to apply their new skills to a large-scale collaborative mural or individual panels.
Adding details: This is where the magic happens! We add highlights, shadows, and "second outlines" to make the artwork pop.
The master polish: Our pro artists help students add those final professional touches that turn a good piece into a masterpiece.
Photo op & wrap-up: We celebrate the hard work with a group photo in front of the art, followed by a quick debrief and clean-up.

Good to know

Our workshops are designed to be "plug and play" for schools. We handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on the fun! 🏆

Duration: Typically 1.5 to 3 hours (flexible to fit your timetable).
Group size: From small art clubs to entire grade levels—we have the artists to scale up!
Included: Professional spray cans, protective masks, gloves, overalls, and mobile painting surfaces.
Weather: We have backup plans! If it rains, we can use indoor-safe techniques or reschedule using our backup artist network.
Safety: Full safety briefing included and non-toxic materials used wherever possible.

From the historic charm of the Nicolae Romanescu Park to the modern energy of the university district, Craiova is the perfect backdrop for a new generation of artists. There's a real respect for urban culture here, and we love tapping into that local pride during our workshops!
