Do the kids need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! No prior drawing or spray-painting experience is required. Our professional artists in Craiova specialise in teaching beginners. We start with the absolute basics—how to hold the can, regulate pressure, and create simple lines—before moving on to more complex techniques. Every student walks away with a piece of art they can truly be proud of, regardless of their starting point.

Is the workshop safe for children and teenagers?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our spray paints are selected for their quality, and all sessions are supervised by experienced professionals who ensure the equipment is handled correctly. We conduct our Craiova workshops in well-ventilated or outdoor spaces to ensure a comfortable and secure environment for all participants.

What should my child wear to the graffiti workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide full-body protective overalls, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy! It’s best to leave the brand-new trainers at home just in case. Since many of our holiday workshops take place outdoors, please check the weather and dress accordingly for the day.

How long does a typical holiday session last?

A standard school holiday workshop in Craiova usually lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. This timeframe is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining high energy and focus. It includes the initial safety briefing, technique practice on the practice walls, and the final creation phase where students work on their own masterpiece or a collective mural. We can adjust the duration slightly based on your group's specific needs.

How much does a graffiti workshop in Craiova cost?

Our pricing is flexible and depends on the number of participants and the specific setup you choose. Prices generally range from 100 RON to 220 RON per person. Group bookings often benefit from a lower per-person rate. To get an accurate price for your specific holiday group in Craiova, we recommend using our online cost calculator or requesting a custom quote via our contact form.

What happens if we need to cancel or if the artist is sick?

We understand that plans can change. One of the biggest advantages of booking with Graffitifun is that we don't require upfront payments for most bookings—you can pay after the workshop. Additionally, we have a large team of backup artists available. This means that even if an instructor falls ill, we almost always have a professional ready to step in, so your holiday event isn't cancelled.

Can the students take their artwork home with them?

Yes! While we do large-scale murals, most of our school holiday workshops are designed so that each participant creates their own individual piece on a canvas or wooden panel. This means they get to take their unique street art home to hang on their bedroom wall as a permanent souvenir of their holiday experience in Craiova. It's a great way to remember the day!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next school break in Craiova? It’s more than just painting; it's a confidence-boosting experience that breaks the mould of traditional holiday activities. Here is why we're the top choice for local families and groups:

Real street techniques: Learn authentic skills like fading, 3D effects, and "cutting" from artists who live and breathe this culture. 🎤
Zero stress booking: Don't worry about upfront fees. Our "pay later" system ensures you only pay for the fun you actually have!
Total creative freedom: Boredom doesn't stand a chance when you're given a spray can and a blank canvas to express yourself. 🏆
Safety first, always: We provide top-tier protective gear so the only thing that stays stained is the canvas, not your clothes.
Customisable fun: Whether you're in Craiova, Bucharest, or Cluj-Napoca, we tailor the vibe to suit your group's energy.
Takeaway art: Forget plastic trinkets—every student goes home with a high-quality piece of art they created themselves. 💪

Step by step

The warm welcome: We meet up at the designated creative spot in Craiova, introduce our pro artists, and get everyone hyped for the day.
Safety first: Everyone gets suited up in protective overalls, masks, and gloves. We explain how to use the spray cans safely and responsibly.
Concept sketching: Before touching the walls, students brainstorm ideas and sketch their designs on paper to plan their masterpiece.
Learning the nozzle: Our artists demonstrate different cap types (fats and skinnies) and show how to control the paint flow.
Practice run: Participants head to the practice wall to get a feel for the spray cans and try out their first lines and tags.
The main event: It’s time to fill in the colours! Students start working on their final pieces, applying the layering techniques they've just learned.
Adding the details: This is where the magic happens—we add outlines, highlights, and 3D effects to make the artwork pop.
The gallery walk: We finish by admiring everyone's work, taking group photos, and sharing feedback on the amazing styles created.
Home time: Pack up your custom-made canvas and take your piece of Craiova street art home to show off!
