How long does a typical graffiti summer camp session last?

Most of our summer camp sessions in Craiova last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives the campers enough time to learn the basic techniques, practice their 'tagging' on practice boards, and finally complete an epic masterpiece on a large communal wall or individual canvases. We find this timeframe keeps energy levels high without the kids getting tired out by the physical nature of spraying!

Is it safe for children to use spray paint?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure no one breathes in fumes, as well as gloves and protective suits to keep clothes clean. Our professional artists are trained to supervise youth groups, ensuring that the spray cans are used responsibly and that everyone stays in the designated creative zone at all times.

What is the minimum age for participants?

Ideally, we recommend a minimum age of 8 years old for our Craiova workshops. At this age, children usually have the hand strength to operate the spray nozzles and the focus to follow safety instructions. However, we can adapt our sessions for slightly younger groups using water-based paint or markers if needed. Just let us know the age range of your campers!

Do we need to provide any materials?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray paint in a huge variety of colours, different nozzles (caps) for various effects, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the surface to paint on. We also bring practice boards so the kids can get a feel for the pressure before they start on their final project. You just need to bring the enthusiasm!

Do the kids need to have artistic talent or experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our Craiova-based artists start with the very basics: how to hold the can, how to control the line width, and how to fill in shapes. Most kids are shocked at how much they can achieve in just one afternoon. It’s all about building confidence and having a blast with some Vitamin 'G' (Graffiti)!

Can you accommodate large summer camp groups?

We love working with large groups! Whether you have a small summer club of 15 kids or a massive city-wide camp with over 100 participants, we can handle it. For larger groups, we send multiple artists to ensure everyone gets enough personal attention and guidance. We can even run rotating stations if you have a very high volume of campers.

What happens if we need to cancel or change our booking?

We totally understand that summer camp schedules can change. Unlike many other providers, Graffitifun doesn't require an upfront payment. You can book your date and pay after the workshop is successfully completed. We also have a pool of backup artists available, so even if an instructor falls ill, your event will still go ahead as planned. We've got your back!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Craiova is a city that breathes history, from the stunning architecture of the Cretulescu Palace to the lush greenery of Nicolae Romanescu Park. But there's a modern, edgy side to the "Capital of Oltenia" that’s just waiting to be explored. The street art scene here is growing, and we love bringing that urban spark to the youth of the city. We often draw inspiration from local Craiova landmarks or the fierce spirit of the "Blue Lions" to get the kids excited about their designs.

Fun fact: Did you know that Nicolae Romanescu Park is one of the largest natural parks in Eastern Europe? It’s the perfect backdrop for a summer of creativity, and we bring that same sense of scale and wonder to our outdoor graffiti murals!
