Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with sensory sensitivities?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. Our professional artists are trained to supervise groups with diverse needs, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and that everyone stays in a comfortable, ventilated environment throughout the workshop.

Can you accommodate participants with different types of disabilities?

We pride ourselves on being 100% inclusive. Our street art experts in Galati are experienced in adapting their teaching methods for individuals with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, or neurodivergence. We focus on what each person *can* do, using adaptive tools or techniques to ensure everyone creates a piece of art they are proud of.

Do we need to travel to a specific studio in Galati?

While we often host workshops at vibrant outdoor locations or our local studios, we are fully mobile! If your group in Galati feels more comfortable in a familiar setting like a community centre or school hall, we can bring all the equipment, floor protection, and expertise directly to you.

Is any prior artistic experience or 'talent' required?

Not at all! This program is designed for complete beginners. We start with the basics—how to hold the can, how to control the pressure, and how to spray a simple line. Our goal is to foster 'creative freedom' rather than technical perfection, so everyone can enjoy the process regardless of their artistic background.

How long does a typical special needs graffiti session last?

A standard inclusive session usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This timeframe is ideal as it allows enough time for an introduction, practice, and the creation of a final masterpiece without becoming overly tiring. However, we can adjust the duration to suit the specific energy levels and attention spans of your group.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and old shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'artistic' paint on. While we provide full-body protective suits and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be a bit messy. It’s all part of the fun of becoming a real street artist for the day!

How does the booking and payment process work?

We understand that plans can change. One of the unique benefits of booking with Graffitifun is our 'no upfront payment' policy. You can book your date to secure our artists, and payment is only handled after the workshop is completed. This offers total peace of mind for organisers and families in Galati.

The experience

Choosing a Graffitifun workshop means choosing an experience that celebrates diversity. We don't just teach art; we build confidence through the spray can! Here is why our inclusive workshops in Galati are so special:

Tailored Pace: We never rush; we adapt the speed of the workshop to match the comfort level of every participant. ✨
Sensory Engagement: The sound of the can, the vibrant colours, and the physical act of spraying provide a fantastic multi-sensory experience. 🎨
Expert Mentors: Our artists are not just talented painters; they are patient, encouraging mentors who love sharing their passion. 🏆
Boosts Motor Skills: Gripping and pressing the nozzle is a fun way to practice fine motor control and coordination. 💪
Zero Stress Environment: There are no mistakes in graffiti—only "happy accidents" and new layers of beautiful paint! 🎉
Tangible Achievement: Every participant goes home with a physical piece of art they created themselves, providing a huge sense of pride. 🎤

Step by step

Warm welcome and intro: We start by meeting the group and introducing our friendly professional artists who will guide the session.
Safety first: Everyone gets fitted with their 'artist gear'—protective suits, gloves, and high-quality masks to stay clean and safe.
Can control practice: We teach the basics of spray painting on practice boards, focusing on finger pressure and hand movement at a relaxed pace.
Design brainstorming: Participants choose their favourite colours and shapes, or we help them sketch out a simple, exciting idea for their canvas.
Layering the art: Guided by our experts, the group starts applying colours to their main project, learning how to fill spaces and create cool effects.
Adding the details: We help with 'outlining' and adding highlights to make the graffiti pop and look like a professional street art piece.
The big reveal: We take a moment to admire everyone's hard work, snapping photos of the incredible masterpieces created by the team.
Cleanup and take-home: We handle all the mess! Participants get to take their unique canvases home as a permanent memory of their creative triumph.

Local culture

Galati, with its stunning Danube promenade and rich industrial history, is a city that understands the power of transformation. Just as the city has evolved, we use street art to help individuals see themselves in a new, colourful light. The local creative scene here is growing, and we love bringing our workshops to this vibrant riverside community.

Fun Galati Fact: Did you know that Galati is home to one of the most unique "street Art" galleries in Romania? The Faleza Dunarii is lined with impressive iron sculptures that have stood the test of time, proving that art belongs in public spaces for everyone to enjoy!

Our workshops often take inspiration from the flowing energy of the Danube, encouraging participants to let their creativity flow just as freely. We aim to contribute to Galati's inclusive culture by making sure art is accessible to every single citizen.
