Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

Getting messy is part of the fun, but we prioritise safety! We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and specialised masks for every child. Our professional artists supervise the group at all times, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and that everyone stays within the designated painting zones. We use low-odour professional paints to make the experience as comfortable as possible for younger lungs. Enjoy the creativity with peace of mind!

Do the kids need any prior drawing or painting skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our artists start with a friendly introduction to the history of street art and then move into a 'skills builder' session. We teach the kids how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create different lines. By the time they start on the main mural, they feel like confident little pros. It’s all about boosting their self-esteem through discovery.

Where in Timisoara do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop right on your school grounds in Timisoara if you have a suitable outdoor wall or a well-ventilated space. If your school doesn't have the space, don't worry—we have access to several legal graffiti zones and creative hubs across the city. We’ll handle the logistics so you can focus on the students' excitement. We can even bring mobile wooden panels to your playground.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

The sweet spot for primary school groups is usually around 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety briefing, a demonstration, some practice time, and the creation of a final masterpiece without the kids losing focus. We can easily adjust the duration to fit into a specific school period or make it a half-day 'art immersion' event. We work around your school’s ringing bell!

What materials do we need to provide as a school?

Everything is included in the price! We provide the spray paint, caps, safety gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the 'canvas' (whether that’s a wall, boards, or individual canvases). If we are painting a permanent wall at the school, we also handle the surface preparation. You just need to bring the students and a lot of energy—we take care of all the technical bits and the big cleanup afterwards.

Can we choose a specific theme for the mural?

Absolutely! We love it when a workshop has a deeper meaning. Whether you are focusing on environmental issues, local Timisoara history, 'friendship,' or a specific school motto, we can tailor the design phase to reflect those values. The kids will brainstorm keywords and symbols with our artists before they start painting, making the final mural a true reflection of their classroom learning and school spirit.

How much does the primary school workshop cost?

Pricing varies based on the number of students and the chosen format (e.g., individual canvases versus a large communal wall). In Timisoara, our prices typically range from lei100 to lei220 per child. We offer special discounts for larger year groups or multi-day bookings. Since every school has different needs, we recommend hitting the 'Request a custom quote' button to get a transparent price tailored perfectly for your budget.

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: Our artists arrive at your Timisoara school and kick things off with a high-energy talk about the history of street art and the importance of legal, creative expression. ✨
Safety first briefing: Every student gets kitted out in protective gear. We explain the "golden rules" of using spray cans safely and respecting the environment. 🛡️
Mastering the can: Before hitting the big wall, kids practice "can control" on trial boards—learning how to make dots, thin lines, and fat flares. 🎨
The big sketch: Together with the artist, the students help outline the main mural theme, using chalk or light paint to map out their collective vision. ✏️
Adding the colour: This is the best bit! Students work in small teams to fill in the mural, learning techniques like blending colors and creating 3D shadows. 🌈
The finishing touches: Our professional artists help the kids add sharp outlines and "highlights" to make their artwork pop and look truly professional. 🔥
The big reveal & photos: We step back to admire the masterpiece! This is the perfect time for group photos and for the kids to show off their hard work. 📸
Tidy up & certificates: We handle the entire cleanup process. We can also provide certificates of participation to celebrate the students' new creative skills. 🏆

Local culture

Timisoara isn't just the "City of Roses"—it's a vibrant canvas of Central European history mixed with modern rebellion! From the historic squares to the banks of the Bega, the city's architecture tells a story. Our workshops embrace this local spirit, drawing inspiration from the incredible murals found in the Iosefin district and the creative energy of the 2023 European Capital of Culture legacy. 🇷🇴

Fun Fact: Timisoara was the first city in mainland Europe to have electric street lighting—now we’re helping the next generation "light up" the city with neon spray paint and bright ideas! 💡

Whether your school is near the buzzing Unirii Square or tucked away in a quiet residential area, we bring the tools and the talent to make your students feel part of the city's thriving art scene. We also offer workshops in other major Romanian hubs like Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, and Brasov.
