How long does a typical youth graffiti workshop last?

Most Timisoara youth workshops run between 2 and 3 hours. This gives the group plenty of time to learn the basics of can control, practice their sketches, and collaborate on a large-scale mural or individual canvases. We can also adapt the schedule for multi-day youth projects or intensive weekend masterclasses if you are looking for a deeper dive into the street art world.

Is the workshop safe for teenagers?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are professional artists who are experienced in managing groups of young people, ensuring that the spray cans are used responsibly and that the creative environment remains inclusive and positive for all participants throughout the session.

Do participants need to have prior artistic skills?

Absolutely no experience is required! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to those who enjoy sketching in their spare time. Our artists provide step-by-step guidance, helping every participant find their style. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun, ensuring that everyone walks away feeling like a pro, regardless of their artistic background or previous experience with a spray can.

What should the youth group wear to the workshop?

While we provide protective suits, we always recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable sneakers. Graffiti is a hands-on, messy art form, and while the overalls cover most areas, a stray drop of paint can occasionally find its way onto a sleeve or shoe. It is best to wear things you don't mind getting a little 'colourful' while you are busy creating your masterpiece in the sun!

Where in Timisoara do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host workshops at various legal street art locations around Timisoara, or we can bring the experience to your youth centre, school grounds, or local community hub. If you have a specific wall in mind, let us know, or we can provide mobile wooden panels and canvases that allow us to set up a pop-up graffiti studio almost anywhere.

What is the cost for a youth project workshop?

Prices in Timisoara generally range from 100 lei to 220 lei per person. The final cost depends on the number of participants, the duration of the project, and the materials required (like specialized mural paint or individual canvases). We offer transparent pricing with no hidden fees, and you only pay after the workshop is complete. Request a custom quote to get an exact price for your specific group.

Step by step

Initial consultation: Reach out to us with your ideas! We discuss the goals of your youth project, the group size, and your preferred dates in Timisoara.
Design brainstorming: We help the group develop a theme. Whether it’s social change, local pride, or pure abstract art, the vision starts here.
Safety briefing: Before any paint flies, our pros teach the group about mask usage, ventilation, and can safety to ensure a worry-free experience.
Can control basics: Participants learn the 'sketching' technique—how to hold the can, create thin lines, and fill large areas without drips.
Outline and fill: The group starts bringing the design to life on the wall or canvas, working together to block out the main shapes and colours.
Detailing and fading: Our artists demonstrate advanced tricks like gradients, shadows, and highlight pops to make the artwork 'jump' off the surface.
The final tag: Every artist gets to sign their work with a unique tag or nickname, marking their contribution to the collective masterpiece.
Group photo and wrap-up: We celebrate the finished mural with a professional photo session, capturing the pride and energy of the youth team.
Clean up and feedback: We handle all the site restoration while discussing the creative journey with the group before we part ways.

Local culture

Timisoara has a deep-rooted love for the arts, evident in its grand architecture and emerging street art scene. The city’s spirit of freedom, famously sparked during the 1989 revolution, resonates perfectly with the rebellious yet constructive nature of graffiti. We love hosting workshops here because the local youth have an incredible drive to innovate and beautify their surroundings. Whether we are inspired by the floral motifs of the city parks or the edgy, modern energy of the student district, Timisoara always provides a unique spark for our artists. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Timisoara was the first city in mainland Europe to have electric street lighting? We like to think our bright neon graffiti continues that tradition of lighting up the city streets! ✨
