How it works

Introduction & Safety: We start with a warm welcome and a breakdown of the safety rules, ensuring everyone knows how to use the gear properly.
The Basics: Our professional artists demonstrate essential spray can techniques, from finger pressure to arm movement.
Sketching Ideas: Participants grab paper and markers to brainstorm their designs, focusing on the theme of your youth project.
Practice Round: Before hitting the main wall, everyone gets to spray their first lines and 'dots' to get a feel for the pressure.
Outlining: We move to the main surface where the large-scale mural begins to take shape with the first outlines.
Colour Filling: This is where the magic happens—the group works together to fill in the piece with vibrant Brno-inspired colours.
Details & Highlights: We teach the tricks for making designs 'pop', adding highlights, shadows, and clean edges.
The Big Reveal: Once the final caps are clicked off, we take a group photo in front of the finished masterpiece.
Clean Up: We ensure the area is tidy and participants are de-geared, leaving only the art behind.

Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers and young people?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves, masks, and overalls for every participant. Our professional artists are experienced in leading youth groups and ensure that all equipment is used correctly. We choose safe, legal locations in Brno for our youth projects, so you can enjoy the creative process without any worries. Safety briefings are a standard part of every workshop we host.

Do we need to pay for the project in advance?

We are confident you'll love the experience, which is why we don't require any upfront payment. You only pay after the workshop is completed and everyone is happy with their masterpiece. This keeps the process stress-free for youth leaders and organisers. We can handle the administration smoothly via invoice or other preferred methods, ensuring the focus remains on the creative energy of the Brno youth group.

Do the participants need previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to those who have dabbled in street art before. Our expert instructors guide the group through the basics of spray painting, lettering, and shading. By the end of the session, even those who thought they weren't 'artistic' will have created something they can be proud of. It’s all about discovery and fun.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard youth project workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives the group plenty of time to learn the techniques, practice their first lines, and finish a large-scale collaborative mural. If you have a specific schedule or a larger event planned in Brno, we can easily adapt the duration to fit your needs. Longer sessions allow for more detailed work and deeper skill development.

What materials are included in the youth project package?

We provide everything needed for a successful street art experience. This includes a wide range of professional spray cans in various colours, different nozzles (caps) for varied effects, protective masks, gloves, and disposable overalls to keep clothes clean. We also provide the 'canvas'—whether that’s a legal wall in Brno or mobile wooden panels. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear old trainers!

What is the maximum group size for a Brno youth project?

We are very flexible! Small groups of 10 or large youth organisations with 50+ participants are all welcome. For larger groups, we simply send additional professional artists to ensure every young person gets the attention and guidance they need. This scalability makes our workshops perfect for Brno community centres, scouts, or school holiday programmes. No group is too big or too small for a creative takeover.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

While we usually aim for outdoor sessions to get the authentic street art feel at Brno's legal graffiti spots, we always have a Plan B. If the Czech weather doesn't play ball, we can often move to covered locations or use indoor-safe, water-based paints on canvases or boards if the venue allows. We also have backup artists available to ensure your project never gets cancelled due to staff illness.
