Why choose us in Linz?
Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth initiative in Linz? It is more than just spray painting; it is about building confidence and community. Check out some of the benefits:
- 💪 Boosts Self-Esteem: Seeing a massive piece of art come to life from your own hands is an amazing confidence builder.
- 🤝 Teamwork in Action: Nothing brings a group together like collaborating on a giant mural where every person's contribution counts.
- 🎨 Safe Creative Outlet: We provide a legal, structured environment for kids to explore their interest in urban art without the risks.
- 🧠 Focus and Discipline: Mastering a spray can requires patience, hand-eye coordination, and a surprising amount of focus.
- 🔥 Pure Fun: Let's be honest—spraying paint is incredibly satisfying and a great way to let off some steam!
How it works
- Introduction and Inspiration: We kick things off with a brief history of graffiti culture and a look at different styles to get the creative juices flowing.
- Safety First: Everyone gets geared up with professional masks, gloves, and protective suits while learning the essential safety rules of the workshop.
- Mastering the Tool: Our artists demonstrate proper spray can techniques, including how to control pressure, distance, and nozzle types for different effects.
- Sketching Your Vision: Participants grab paper and pencils to draft their ideas, names, or characters before moving to the 'big' wall.
- Outlining and Filling: The real fun begins! We translate the sketches onto the surface, learning how to fill large areas smoothly and create clean edges.
- Adding Details and Highlights: Learn the professional tricks of the trade, like adding 'shine' lines, shadows, and 3D effects to make the art pop.
- Final Outline: We finish the pieces with a clean 'power line' to give the artwork that professional, finished graffiti look.
- Group Photo and Review: We celebrate the hard work with a group photoshoot in front of the completed mural—a perfect memory for the whole team!

Frequently asked questions
Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers and children?
Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every participant. Our professional artists are trained to supervise youth groups and ensure everyone uses the spray cans correctly. We choose locations with excellent ventilation or work outdoors to ensure a safe, fun, and healthy environment for all budding artists in Linz.
How long does a typical youth workshop session last?
The standard length for our Linz youth projects is between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a solid introduction, sketching, and plenty of actual spraying. If you have a specific schedule or a larger group that requires a full-day programme, just let us know! We are experts at tailoring the duration to fit your event plan perfectly.
What materials are included in the workshop package?
We provide everything needed for a successful street art session! This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, protective gear (masks, gloves, overalls), and surfaces to paint on. We can set up temporary wooden walls, use large canvases, or even work on a legal public wall if available. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear old clothes!
Do the participants need to have previous artistic experience?
Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels. Most of our participants have never held a spray can before. Our experienced artists guide the group through the basics, from simple lines to complex shading techniques. By the end of the session, even the most hesitant beginner will have created something they can be proud of. It is all about the process!
Where in Linz do the workshops usually take place?
We are very flexible! We can host workshops at various legal graffiti zones across Linz, or we can bring the workshop to you. If your youth centre or school has a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area, we can set up our mobile studio there. We always ensure the location is safe, legal, and ready for some serious creative action.
How do I book a workshop for my youth organisation?
Booking is easy and stress-free with Graffitifun. You can start by using our online Cost Calculator to get an estimate, or simply send us a request for a custom quote. We don't require upfront payments—you pay after the workshop is completed. Plus, we have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about last-minute cancellations. Ready to start?
