How it works

The big welcome: Our professional artists meet your group at the chosen Salzburg location for a high-energy intro to street art history.
Design brainstorming: We help the youth group brainstorm a theme or message they want to communicate through their artwork.
Safety first: Everyone gets geared up in protective suits, masks, and gloves while receiving a full safety briefing.
Can control basics: We demonstrate how to hold the spray can, how to control the pressure, and how to create different line widths.
Sketching the piece: Participants start by 'ghosting' their designs onto the wall or canvas using light colours.
The fill-in: This is where the magic happens! The group starts adding vibrant colours to their designs.
Outlining & highlights: We teach the tricks of 'cutting' lines and adding highlights to make the graffiti pop off the surface.
The final reveal: We step back to admire the collective masterpiece and take group photos to celebrate the achievement.
Tidy up: We ensure the area is left spotless, leaving only the artwork behind as a testament to the group's hard work.

Frequently asked questions

How do you ensure the safety of the young participants?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality FFP3 respiratory masks, protective suits, and gloves to ensure a safe environment. Our professional artists lead every session, providing thorough safety briefings before anyone touches a spray can. We use low-odour, professional-grade paints and conduct our youth projects in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated street art zones across Salzburg to keep everyone protected while they create.

Do the kids need to have any drawing skills beforehand?

Absolutely no prior artistic experience is needed! Our workshops are designed to take beginners from 'zero to hero' in just a few hours. We focus on teaching the fundamental techniques, from basic 'tags' to more complex 'pieces,' in a way that is accessible and fun. Our artists are there to guide every hand, ensuring that every participant walks away feeling proud of what they have created, regardless of their starting skill level.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything you need for a successful youth project. This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, protective gear (suits, gloves, masks), and the painting surfaces themselves—whether that's a large communal wall or individual canvases the participants can keep. We even bring the inspiration! You just need to bring your energy, some old clothes (just in case), and a desire to get creative in the heart of Salzburg.

How long does a typical graffiti youth project last?

The duration of our youth projects is flexible to suit your schedule, but typically they last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction to street art culture, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the completion of a final masterpiece. For larger Salzburg community projects, we can also offer multi-day programmes that dive deeper into design theory and large-scale mural production.

What is the ideal group size for a youth graffiti workshop?

We are very flexible with group sizes! We can host small community groups of 10 people or large-scale youth events with over 100 participants. For larger groups, we simply bring in more of our professional artists to ensure every participant gets the personal attention and guidance they need to succeed. No matter the size of your Salzburg-based youth organisation, we have the staff and equipment to make it happen.

Can we paint on a permanent wall at our youth centre?

Our primary focus for youth projects is on temporary or mobile walls and canvases, but if your organisation has a legal wall or a specific building permit in Salzburg, we can definitely paint a permanent mural! We always operate within the law and teach the importance of 'legal' street art versus illegal graffiti. It’s a great way to legally beautify a local youth centre or community space while teaching respect for the environment.
