The experience
Why choose a graffiti workshop for your after school program in Cork? It’s more than just painting on walls—it’s about building skills that last a lifetime. Here’s why the kids (and the parents!) love what we do:
- 🔥 Confidence boost: Nothing beats the feeling of seeing your small sketch turn into a massive, colorful mural.
- 🎨 Real creative freedom: We ditch the rules of traditional art and let the kids express their unique styles and "tags."
- 🤝 Teamwork in action: Many of our projects involve collaborative murals where students must communicate and work together to finish the piece.
- 🛡️ 100% safe & professional: With top-tier safety gear and professional artists, we provide a controlled environment for a "wild" art form.
- 🏆 Result oriented: Everyone goes home with a new skill, a sense of pride, and often their very own piece of custom street art.
- ✨ Hassle-free booking: No upfront payments, backup artists always ready, and we bring everything to you!

Step by step
- Intro and safety briefing: We start with a quick chat about street art history and a vital safety demo on how to use the gear properly.
- Design brainstorming: Students grab a sketchbook to doodle their ideas, focusing on tags, 'throw-ups,' and character concepts.
- Can control basics: Our pros show the kids how to hold the can, swap nozzles (caps), and manage pressure for different effects.
- Sketching the wall: Using light colors, the students transfer their paper designs onto the large practice surface or canvas.
- Filling in the color: This is where the magic happens! The kids learn how to apply vibrant colors smoothly and create cool gradients.
- Outlining and highlights: We teach the secret to making art 'pop'—adding sharp black outlines and white highlights for a 3D effect.
- The finishing touches: Students add personal details, 'flaunches,' and drips to give their work that authentic street edge.
- Photo session and cleanup: We take group photos with the finished masterpiece before tidying up the site and packing up the gear.
Good to know
- Group sizes: Flexible! We cater to small groups of 10 or large school cohorts of 30+ students with multiple artists.
- Duration: Standard sessions are 1.5 to 2 hours, but we can customize this to fit your timetable.
- What's included: Professional spray cans, nozzles, protective masks, gloves, overalls, and canvases/boards.
- Safety: Full risk assessments provided. We use high-quality safety gear and strictly follow Irish health and safety guidelines.
- Instructors: All our artists are Garda vetted and have extensive experience working with children and teenagers.

Local culture
Street art in Cork
Cork has a long-standing love affair with street art, from the iconic murals in the Lapps Quay area to the hidden gems tucked away in the lanes off Oliver Plunkett Street. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, encouraging students to draw inspiration from the city's rich maritime history and its legendary 'rebel' attitude. We often reference famous Cork street spots to show the kids how art can transform urban spaces into open-air galleries.
Pricing
Our Cork after school workshops are competitively priced to ensure as many students as possible can join the fun. Prices typically range from €30 to €60 per person, depending on the number of participants, the length of the program, and the materials required (like take-home canvases).
We believe in total transparency—there are no hidden fees and no upfront payment is required. You only pay after the workshop is complete and everyone is happy!
