The experience
Why choose a Graffitifun workshop for your school on the banks of the Lee? Itâs more than just paintingâitâs about building a sense of achievement! đ¨
- Unleash creativity: There are no 'mistakes' in graffiti, which helps kids who might struggle with traditional art forms feel successful. đ
- Teamwork in action: Our mural workshops require students to collaborate, communicate, and work together on one massive masterpiece. đ¤
- Professional vibes: Our artists are the real dealâthey live and breathe street art and are fantastic at engaging with primary-aged children. đ¤
- Physical & fun: Itâs a great way to get kids moving and practicing fine motor skills in a totally unique way. đââď¸
- Safe & clean: We handle all the setup and cleanup, ensuring your school grounds stay tidy while the kids stay protected. đ§ź
- Zero stress: With no upfront payment and backup artists ready to go, your school event is in safe hands. đ

Step by step
- Initial enquiry: Reach out to us with your preferred dates and the number of students participating in Cork.
- Design the theme: We chat about what your students are learningâmaybe it's nature, 'The Rebel City' history, or school valuesâand we incorporate that into the workshop.
- Safety first: On the day, we start with a fun but thorough safety briefing and show the kids how to use their protective gear professionally.
- Master the tech: Our artists demonstrate 'can control'âhow to make thin lines, fat drips, and cool fades.
- Sketching the wall: Students help sketch the layout on the boards or canvases, planning their masterpiece.
- The big paint: This is the best part! Under our guidance, the kids get hands-on with the spray cans to fill in the designs.
- Final outlines: We help the kids add those sharp outlines and highlights that make the graffiti pop.
- Review and photos: We finish with a 'gallery walk' where students talk about their work, followed by a big group photo with their creation.
Good to know
- Duration: Usually 1.5 to 2 hours, though we can adjust for double-sessions.
- Group size: We cater to full class sizes (approx. 30 students) per artist.
- Whatâs included: All paint, boards/canvases, respiratory masks, gloves, and aprons.
- Weather: We have backup plans! If itâs typical Cork rain, we can work under gazebos or move to a ventilated indoor hall.
- Safety: Full risk assessments provided; all artists are experienced in school environments.

Local culture
Street art in Cork
Cork has always been a city of rebels and creators, and its street art scene is no different! From the stunning murals of the 'ArdĂş' street art project to the hidden gems in the Lough and Shandon areas, the city is a living gallery. We love bringing that same energy into local primary schools, showing the kids that art doesn't just belong in a gold frameâit belongs to the community.
Pricing
We believe in transparent pricing that works for school budgets. Our school workshops in Cork typically range from:
âŹ30 - âŹ60 per student
This price varies based on the total number of students, the duration of the workshop, and whether you want individual canvases or a large-scale mural for the school. We don't require prepaymentsâyou only pay after the fun is done!
