What is the difference between this and a normal graffiti workshop?

An anti-vandalism workshop focuses on the 'legal' side of street art. While we teach the same awesome spray-painting techniques you see on famous murals, we also discuss the ethics of public space, the importance of legal graffiti zones, and how to channel creative energy into constructive art rather than destruction. It is about respect for the city of Horsens while still having a blast with a spray can.

Do I need to be artistic or have painted before?

Absolutely no experience is required! Our professional artists are expert instructors who can help anyone from a complete beginner to a seasoned sketcher. We start with the basics—how to hold the can, pressure control, and simple lines—before moving on to more complex pieces. You will be amazed at what you can create in just a couple of hours under our guidance.

Is it safe for young people or school groups?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks to ensure no one inhales fumes or gets paint on their clothes. Our spray paints are selected for quality and safety. We also conduct a safety briefing at the start of every session in Horsens to ensure everyone handles the equipment correctly and stays safe.

Where do the workshops in Horsens take place?

We are totally flexible! We have several preferred outdoor spots in and around Horsens that are perfect for spraying. However, if you have a specific location in mind—like a school playground, a community centre, or a private wall—we can come to you. We just need to ensure the space is well-ventilated and that we have the proper permissions to paint there.

What should we bring with us on the day?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and old shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide full-body protective gear (overalls), spray paint has a way of finding its way onto laces! Other than that, just bring your enthusiasm. We provide all the professional spray cans, caps, masks, and canvases or wall space needed for the day.

How long does a typical session last?

The standard anti-vandalism experience usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows enough time for an introduction to street art culture, a safety briefing, some practice time to get used to the cans, and finally, the creation of a large-scale masterpiece. We can also adapt the timing to fit into a specific school schedule or event itinerary if needed.

Do we need to pay in advance to book?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is that you do not have to pay anything upfront. We believe in our service and want you to be 100% satisfied. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and then handle the payment after the workshop is complete. It is the most transparent and stress-free way to organise your event in Horsens.

The experience

Why choose an anti-vandalism graffiti experience in Horsens? It’s more than just painting—it’s about community pride and personal growth. Here is why our program hits the spot:

From Tags to Talent: We teach people how to move beyond simple 'tags' to create complex, beautiful murals. 🏆
Respect for the City: By understanding the work that goes into a piece, participants develop a new-found respect for public property.
Boost Confidence: There is nothing like the feeling of finishing a huge, colourful piece of art to make you feel like a pro. 💪
Pro-Level Instructors: You’ll be learning from authentic street artists who live and breathe this culture.
Total Peace of Mind: We handle all the logistics, safety gear, and cleanup—you just show up and spray! 🎈
Zero Risk: With our "pay after the workshop" policy and backup artist guarantee, your event is in safe hands.

Step by step

Introduction & Culture: We start with a high-energy intro to street art history and the difference between vandalism and 'street art' in Horsens.
Gear Up: Everyone gets fitted with professional protective overalls, masks, and gloves to keep things clean and safe.
Can Basics: Our artists demonstrate 'can control'—teaching you how to use different nozzles (caps) for thin lines or fat fills.
Sketching Your Idea: Participants grab paper and pens to brainstorm their design, focusing on positive community themes.
The First Layer: Head to the wall or canvas to spray your 'fill-in'—the base colours of your graffiti piece.
Outlining: This is where the magic happens! We teach you how to add sharp outlines to make your art pop.
Highlights & 3D: Add the finishing touches like shines, 'power-lines', and 3D effects to give your work depth.
The Big Reveal: We step back as a group to admire the collective masterpiece and snap some epic photos.
Clean Up: We ensure the site is left tidy, leaving only the beautiful new art behind.
