Do we need any previous art experience to enjoy the workshop?

Absolutely! Most of our outdoor party guests in Drogheda have never even touched a spray can before. Our professional artists are pros at breaking down the techniques into bite-sized, easy-to-follow steps. We start with the basics of nozzle control and lines before moving on to the bigger picture. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've created. It’s all about having a laugh and trying something new!

What materials are included in the outdoor party package?

We provide everything you need to get creative. This includes high-quality spray cans in a huge range of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and masks to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or boards that you'll be painting on. The only thing we suggest is that you wear comfortable, older clothes and shoes just in case—spray paint is permanent, and while we provide gear, it's better to be safe!

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor event?

Since this is an outdoor workshop in Drogheda, we always keep a close eye on the Irish weather! If the forecast looks a bit dodgy, we have a few options. We can often move the session to a sheltered outdoor area, or if you prefer, we can look at rescheduling. We also have backup indoor locations available if the rain really settles in. We'll chat with you beforehand to make sure the plan works for your group.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

Our standard outdoor party workshops usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives your group plenty of time to learn the techniques, sketch out some ideas, and complete your final graffiti pieces without feeling rushed. If you have a specific timeframe in mind for your Drogheda event, just let us know and we can tailor the session length to fit your schedule perfectly.

Is the spray paint safe to use for everyone in the group?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paint and provide all necessary safety equipment, including high-quality masks and gloves. Our instructors are experienced professionals who supervise the entire session to ensure everyone is using the equipment correctly. Because it's an outdoor setting in Drogheda, there is plenty of natural ventilation, making it a very safe environment for a creative group activity.

Can we choose a specific theme or design for our graffiti session?

Yes, we love it when groups want to create something meaningful! You can choose a specific theme, like a company logo for a team-build, a 'bride-to-be' tribute for a hen party, or just a specific colour palette that suits your style. Just mention your ideas when booking your Drogheda workshop, and our artists will help bring your vision to life on the day.

Do we get to keep the artwork we create during the party?

One of the best parts of our workshops is that you get to keep what you create! Each participant usually works on their own individual canvas or part of a larger group board. Once the paint is dry, you're free to take your artwork home to show off. It's the ultimate souvenir of your creative day out in Drogheda. We can also arrange for a larger collaborative piece to be transported to a specific location if needed.

Step by step

Arrival and welcome: Meet your professional graffiti artist at our vibrant Drogheda outdoor location. We’ll kick things off with a quick intro and a look at some inspiring street art styles. 🎉
Gear up for safety: We’ll hand out protective overalls, gloves, and masks. It’s all about getting messy with the paint, not your clothes! 💪
Master the nozzle: Learn the 'can-control' basics. Your instructor will show you how to create thin lines, fat drips, and smooth gradients using different techniques. ✨
Sketching your vision: Grab some markers and tag your ideas onto your canvas. This is where you plan your layout before the paint starts flying. ✍️
First layers: Start filling in your shapes. You'll learn how to layer colours and build up the foundation of your graffiti piece. 🎨
Adding the 'Pop': This is where the magic happens! We’ll teach you how to add highlights, 3D shadows, and those iconic "sharp" outlines that make graffiti stand out. 🎤
The final flourish: Add your own personal 'tag' or signature to the work. Our artists will be on hand to help you refine the details of your masterpiece. 🏆
Photo finish: We’ll take some epic group photos of you and your crew with your finished artworks against the Drogheda backdrop. 📸
Take it home: Once the paint is touch-dry, your custom-made street art is ready to go home with you! 🏠

Local culture

Drogheda is a town steeped in history, but its modern pulse is definitely found in its growing street art scene. From the historic walls of Oldbridge to the vibrant atmosphere along the Boyne, there’s an undeniable creative energy here. Our outdoor workshops take inspiration from the "DRAW" murals and the local artists who have transformed the town's urban landscape into an open-air gallery.

Fun Fact: Did you know Drogheda has hosted some of Ireland's most impressive street art festivals? The town is rapidly becoming a hub for muralists from across Europe, making it the perfect backdrop for your own graffiti debut! 🇮🇪

Whether we're setting up near the riverside or in one of the town's cool industrial pockets, the "Gateway to the Boyne" provides the perfect vibe for getting stuck in with a spray can. If you've explored the street art in Dublin or Galway, you’ll know that the Irish street art community is all about passion and storytelling—values we bring to every workshop we host here.
