Is the graffiti workshop safe for all participants?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority in the Bay of Plenty. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for all participants. Our professional artists lead a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use low-odour, high-quality paints wherever possible, and our outdoor setups ensure plenty of ventilation, making it a safe, worry-free environment for kids, adults, and everyone in between.

Where in Tauranga can we hold the charity event?

We are super flexible! Whether you want to host your charity event at a local school ground, a community hall car park, or a dedicated art space in Tauranga Central, we can make it work. If you don't have a venue, let us know—we have experience working with local councils and private venues across the region to find the perfect spot for your creative fundraiser.

Do we need to provide our own spray paint or materials?

The best part about Graffitifun is that we provide everything! Your quote includes all premium spray paint, caps, safety gear (masks/suits), canvases or mobile walls, and the expert guidance of our professional street artists. We even handle the setup and the heavy-duty cleaning afterwards, so your charity team can focus entirely on engaging with your donors and having a blast.

What is the minimum age for participants?

Street art is a universal language, so we welcome everyone from age 6 to 106! For charity events, it’s a brilliant way to get different generations working together. We tailor our coaching style to suit the age group, ensuring youngsters have fun with stencils while adults can dive deeper into complex "wildstyle" techniques or character design. It's truly an inclusive activity.

Do participants need prior artistic experience?

Not at all! In fact, most people who join our Tauranga workshops have never held a spray can before. Our artists are expert teachers who break down the process into simple, manageable steps. We start with basic lines and circles before moving on to 3D effects and highlights. By the end of the session, even the most "non-artistic" person will be stoked with what they’ve created.

How does the payment process work for charities?

At Graffitifun, we believe in our service so much that we don't require upfront payments. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. We want your charity event to be stress-free, so this "pay later" policy ensures you are 100% satisfied with the result before any funds change hands. It’s our way of showing commitment to your cause.

What happens if the artist is unavailable on the day?

We’ve got you covered. In the rare event that your lead artist is unwell, we have a reliable network of backup professionals ready to step in. This means your fundraiser won't be cancelled at the last minute. We understand how much planning goes into charity auctions and community days, so we guarantee that a talented artist will be there to lead your session.

Local culture
