Is the paint safe for participants with sensory sensitivities?

Absolutely! We select only high-quality, low-pressure spray cans and water-based paints where necessary. We provide full protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our instructors are trained to prioritize the safety and comfort of every participant, ensuring a controlled environment where everyone can focus on having a blast and expressing themselves safely.

Can you bring the workshop to our facility in Tauranga?

Yes! We pride ourselves on being fully mobile. While we have great spots in Tauranga, we can also bring the entire workshop to your school, community centre, or facility. We’ll handle the set-up and clean-up, making it easy for your group to enjoy a creative session in a familiar and comfortable setting.

What kind of experience do the instructors have?

Our professional artists are the best in the business. They have extensive experience working with diverse learners and individuals with different abilities. They are patient, encouraging, and expert at breaking down the art of graffiti into simple, achievable steps that build confidence and ensure every participant feels like a total pro.

How do you adapt the workshop for different abilities?

Graffitifun workshops are highly adaptable. We can adjust the duration, the size of the canvases, the complexity of the designs, and even the physical setup of the painting area. Whether it’s accommodating wheelchairs or providing extra breaks for focus, we tailor the experience to meet the specific needs of your group.

Do participants need any previous art experience?

No prior artistic skill is needed at all! Our workshops are designed for beginners. We focus on the joy of "making amuck" with colour and the physical sensation of using a spray can. Our artists guide everyone through the process, so everyone walks away with something they are truly proud of.

How does the pricing and booking process work?

Getting a quote is easy! Since every group has different requirements regarding size and location, we provide custom pricing. Just click our "Request a Quote" button, tell us a bit about your group in Tauranga, and we’ll get back to you with a transparent, no-obligation estimate. Plus, you only pay after the workshop!

Local culture

Tauranga is a city of stunning natural beauty, from the heights of Mauao to the blue waters of the Harbour. But lately, our streets have been getting a dose of colour too! The local street art scene is booming, with incredible murals popping up in the CBD and Mount Maunganui. We love bringing that same urban energy to our special needs community, proving that Tauranga’s creative spirit belongs to everyone. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Tauranga hosts several street art festivals that celebrate the connection between public art and community identity? We aim to bring that exact same sense of belonging to every workshop we run!
