The experience
Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next group activity in Auckland? It’s more than just painting; it’s about sensory engagement, confidence building, and pure joy. Here’s why it works so well: 🔥
- Sensory-friendly fun: The tactile feel of the can, the vibrant colours, and the outdoor setting provide a stimulating yet controlled environment.
- Full accessibility: We adapt our techniques and locations to ensure everyone—regardless of mobility—can participate fully. ♿
- No mistakes, only art: In graffiti, there’s no "wrong" way to do it. This removes the pressure and lets the creativity flow freely. 🏆
- Professional support: Our artists are experienced in working with diverse needs and know how to keep things calm, fun, and encouraging.
- Total flexibility: We can come to your facility or meet at an accessible public wall—whatever works best for your group's comfort. ✨
- Zero risk: With our "no upfront payment" policy and backup artist guarantee, your event is in safe hands.

Step by step
- Initial kōrero: Reach out to us and tell us about your group's specific needs, interests, and any mobility or sensory requirements.
- Custom planning: We’ll pick a suitable Auckland location and tailor the workshop flow to match the energy and abilities of your participants.
- Warm welcome: On the day, our friendly artists greet the group and introduce the vibrant world of street art in a relaxed, pressure-free way.
- Gear up: Everyone gets fitted with protective gear. We make sure the masks and suits are comfortable and not overwhelming for those with sensory sensitivities.
- The basics: We demonstrate low-pressure spray techniques, showing how easy it is to make a mark and change colours.
- Creative practice: Participants get to play with the cans on practice boards, finding their rhythm and gaining confidence with the medium.
- The main event: Together, we work on a collaborative mural or individual canvases, bringing a splash of colour to the Auckland landscape.
- Grand reveal: We take a moment to admire the collective mahi (work) and snap some photos of the incredible art created.
- Take it home: If we've worked on boards or canvases, the artists get to keep their work as a lasting memory of their creative breakthrough.

Local culture
Street art in Auckland
Auckland is a city bursting with creative energy, from the iconic murals in Karangahape Road to the hidden gems in the back alleys of Ponsonby. Street art is a huge part of our local "Tāmaki Makaurau" identity, and we love bringing that culture to everyone in the community. We work with local spots that reflect the true spirit of the city, ensuring our workshops feel like an authentic Auckland experience.
Whether you are based in the CBD or out in the suburbs like Henderson or Manukau, we bring the vibe to you. Our team knows the best accessible spots across the city where your group can paint comfortably while soaking in the local atmosphere.
