Step by step

  1. Initial kōrero: Reach out to us with your group's specific requirements so we can tailor the Wellington experience perfectly for you.
  2. Custom design: Our artists create a simplified concept or stencil that matches the abilities and interests of your participants.
  3. Gear up: We arrive at the Wellington venue with all the gear—suits, masks, gloves, and a rainbow of premium spray cans.
  4. Safety first: An easy-to-follow briefing on how to use the cans safely and effectively.
  5. The first spray: Participants get comfortable with the cans by practicing basic lines and circles on a practice wall.
  6. Creating the masterpiece: Everyone works together (or individually) to fill in the vibrant street art design.
  7. Final flourishes: Our professional artists help add the 'wow' factor touches to ensure everyone feels proud of the result.
  8. Photos and cheers: We capture the smiles and the finished art—a lasting memory of a great day in Pōneke.

Local culture

Street art in Wellington

Wellington is world-famous for its vibrant street art scene—from the iconic murals in Hannahs Laneway to the hidden gems tucked away in Aro Valley. Our workshops tap into this local 'Windy City' energy, giving our special needs groups a chance to contribute to the creative soul of Pōneke. We love bringing our mobile setups to local parks or community centres, making the most of the city's artistic vibe.

Fun Fact: Did you know Wellington has a dedicated 'Street Art Map' produced by the City Council? It features dozens of professional murals, proving that this city truly breathes art!
